As an engaged couple, you are the most important character in each others' lives; therefore your wedding film should portray you as such. As a filmmaker, I approach your story from a cinematic perspective. I do not specialize in conventional wedding videos with stagnant angles and formulaic approaches. Each couple is different, therefore each wedding film should tell a different story. Through an in-person consultation, I find out your vision and tastes and translate that into a film you will want to watch again and again.

About James

James grew up in rural Maine, making movies with his parents' VHS camcorder. Throughout college his passion for the visual image was sharpened during travel in Europe and India, where he developed skills in street photography and documentary filmmaking. He has aided in the production of several short films, documentaries, music videos, wedding films and feature films. His work has been showcased and awarded in festivals throughout the U.S. James is an ardent photographer and greatly admires the work of Henri Cartier-Bresson and Roger Deakins. A proud Philadelphian, he lives in Germantown with his wife, Laura, and their shepherd mix, Julius.
