Bob Egan Entertainment

Very happy with my wedding entertainment from Bob Egan. I used their online song system to select music and everyone really enjoyed the evening. I am a big believer in DJs versus bands for weddings because even the best bands play in a particular style and tend to take breaks--with a great DJ and song selection, the party keeps on going, and everyone was dancing at my wedding--everyone. I also used Bob Egan for my ceremony musicians, the Seviay Strings string quartet. I was pleased with their performance; they were pretty flexible with my requests (was a music major) and played well during the ceremony and cocktail...

CJ was my wedding DJ and I could not have been more pleased with his work. He took all my requests (gave me forms to fill out far in advance) and contacted me a few times to talk through some of his suggestions. Many of his suggestions were really helpful but he also allowed me to make the final decision and was not at all pushy about it. At the event, he was professional and friendly (and even joked around with the bridal party before we entered!) I was very, very pleased with everything he did. Definitely a five-star DJ.

I was not 100% pleased with the DJ the day of my wedding! I can understand why DJ's want to do things their way because it is their reputation is on the line. However, I do not feel that my requests were valued and followed. On the other hand the DJ was very talented and nice.

Bob is a brilliant pianist. He not only played our ceremony and cocktail hour, but he also played during a cabaret during our reception with many of our friends singing!

Jeff Dershin is amazing. He has a beautiful voice and sang all the songs I requested. He also came dressed in a tux which was very classy. I would highly recommend his services and they are very affordable. We booked Jeff for 2 1/2 hours (1 hour ceremony and 1 1/2 hour cocktail hour) and his fee was less than $500. Great deal and great musician!
