Cali was WONDERFUL. I did two trials with her because I changed what I wanted for my wedding. We had a little bit of miscommunication with emails getting lost, but other than that, everything went very smoothly. Though I liked both trials, on the day of the wedding, I loved my hair and makeup even more than I could imagine! Everyone was saying what a wonderful job she did. Her and her colleagues were able to do hair and makeup for my 8 bridesmaids and 2 junior bridesmaids. On the day of the wedding, our mothers decided they wanted their hair done, and she was able to fit them in as well, finishing relatively on time. My only critique is that I wasn't as impressed with her assistant, Ashley. She did nice hair, but it was nowhere near as intricate and detailed as Cali's work. (but that's what you get when you have such a large bridal party). Overall, I was VERY pleased with the quality of work. Cali is very talented and reasonably priced. Having her come to our location alleviated lots of stress. I would highly recommend her for you and your bridal party.

I would definitely recommend Cali and Yvette,they're amazing girls and they really have talent!! I booked Cali because I've read alot of good reviews about her thru wedding wire. I was hesitant at first but then when I looked her portfolio, I know that she knows what's she's doing. Her price was really reasonable compared to other vendors out there, she's really nice and will tell you what's really good for you and not. During our trial makeup my mom didn't like how my make-up turned out, she tried different foundation and eye shows on me and at the end of the day, we have an idea of what my look is going to be. Cali was really approachable and responds to my emails really quickly. I sent her pictures of makeups that I love and she tells me if it's good for me or not. My bridal party loved their hair and makeups! On the day of the wedding Cali and Yvette showed up on the hotel on time and they were ready to roll! We were alittle behind schedule at first because some of my girls have thick hair that's why it took Cali forever to fix their hair but Cali did her thing and we were out of the hotel at exact time as we're suppose to leave!! My hair and makeup turned out really nice and I was really happy with the result! Definitely go with Cali if you're looking for a good result. Cali understands my Filipino culture which is the other factor I loved about her!! KUDOS to Cali and Yvette!

Cali and Yvette were AMAZING!!! They are both truly talented make-up artists, and Cali made my hair look gorgeous. All that everyone could say all night is how beautiful my hair looked! The airbrushed make up was fantastic, and looked so natural, I didn't want to ever take it off. They both made the hours prior to the wedding extremely enjoyable...they were hilarious. My brother got married on 6/24/11. I booked Cali for hair & makeup for me, my sister and my mother. She was fantastic! Our hair and makeup lasted the entire night (including the 100 degree church ceremony) and we couldn't have been happier. Cali's used airbrush foundation, blush/bronzer & false eyelashes in addition to the stardard makeup applications. Trust me when I say that these treatments make all the difference!! We all looked amazing and we had Cali to thank for that. In fact, my eyelashes stayed on the entire weekend through several showers! A major bonus in my opinion...I signed the contract months in advance because I knew Cali would book up fast. Because of this, I had little contact with her until right before the wedding. I have to admit that when I did try to contact her I got very nervous when I didn't hear back from her right away. It was a unecessary fear because Cali always eventually got back to me, showed up as scheduled, and had us all ready on time...we cut it very, very close, but we were all on time.I suggest Cali to anyone who wants the BEST with the convenience of having her come to you. Her relaxed, calm, and easygoing attitude with the comfort of your own surroundings makes working with Cali a dream.

Cali was, for lack of a better word, incredible to work with. Her talent is tremendous and she is nothing short of a pleasure to deal with. She is incredibly professional, easygoing and genuinely loves working with her brides (and bridesmaids). I have never felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding day. I was lucky to have worked with her.

I just had my wedding on Mat 29, 2011. Cali and Rosi made my mom, my four bridesmaids and me look amazing. We all looked Hollywood glam, yet it was not too much and we still looked like ourselves. Also, Cali showed up right on time to the location we were getting ready at and then later showed up on time at my venue for a touch-up. I would recommend Calista Brides to anyone and everyone!! :)

I was EXTREMELY happy with Cali (and Gigi's) hair and make-up services for my wedding. If you look at Cali's portfolio of the make-up and hairstyles she has done, you will see that she doesn't force the same look on every single girl, but is extremely versatile and takes each girl's features into consideration. Each of my bridesmaids looks significantly different than one another, and Cali made everyone look like themselves and not some crazy bridesmaid clone. She was also very responsive to suggestions (darker on eye makeup, more teased crown, etc) during my trial as well as on the actual day of. Not only is Cali talented, but she is confident, has a great sense of humor, and is fun to work with...all features you should look for in your hair/make-up team for your wedding day! My only suggestion would be to keep a closer eye on time. For whatever reason, we ended up getting extremely behind on time which significantly shortened our formal wedding party photo time. I didn't mind too much but it could cause a lot of last-minute stress for anyone who is really anxious and/or wants tons of formal photos. All in all, I highly recommend Calista Brides. People say that your wedding day is the day that you look the best in your whole life...Cali did such a great job that I'm SURE I will never look that good again!!! ;-)

I researched alot of so-called wedding hair and makeup people and none of them compared to Calista Brides. I'm usually hard to please but during my trial, Cali knew just what I wanted and I didn't have to change a thing. Yvette was also fantastic! She had my bridal party looking super glam and everyone was in love with their lashes and Yvette's smokey eye. Thank you Cali so much!!!!

Cali and her team were incredible!!! I can honestly say I have never felt more gorgeous than I did on my wedding day (April 30, 2011). Cali has a wonderful personality and completely made me feel at ease on my big day. I had a very large wedding party (12 bridesmaids, a junior bridesmaid and flower girl). Plus, my mom got her hair and make-up done and two of my nieces got their hair done as well. Cali made sure not only were we all beautiful, but that we were also ready on time. I cannot even tell you how grateful I am that Cali was there because she was the one that made the morning go very smoothly. Cali also scheduled the times everyone needed to be there, which was a great relief to me! The 18 inch extensions Cali provided were amazing. Everyone’s make-up and hair stayed picture perfect all day. Thank you so much Calista Brides!!!!

I had a South Asian (Pakistani) wedding in March 2011 and Cali did my hair/makeup as well as makeup and hair for my mother, sister, aunt, and cousins. She did a fantastic job! My makeup turned out even better than I imagined- I've already had people ask me who did the makeup. She was wonderful, easy to work with, and very flexible. Everyone looked amazing and I would definitely recommend Cali to anyone.

Calista Brides is truly a talented bunch of beauties!! I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. They arrived early to set up and had all 12 of us done way before we even had to leave! everyone looked so unique and beautiful. My cousin who's engaged, actually booked them that same day too! I highly recommend getting the airbrush and hair extensions if you're thinking of getting them. Our skin looked flawless and my hair never looked better. I am beyond impressed with their skills and talents.

I'm so happy I found Calista Brides!!!! My wedding was very early in the morning and I had 10 people altogether. Cali and Yvette showed up early and had us ready with time to spare. I had Cali custom make extensions for me which to this day I still use!! My makeup lasted all day and night. Yvette did the rest of the bridesmaids, a junior bridesmaid and both mothers and everyone was ecstatic at how glamorous yet "real" they looked. They really know how to bring the best features out. Cali & Yvette were so accommodating with everyones needs & desires. If you show them a picture, thats exactly what you get! I cannot say enough wonderful things. I 100% recommend them!

I loved working with Cali!! I was very indecisive and changed my hair color several times as well as the look I was going for with my makeup- Cali was very flexible and gave me exactly what I wanted and I felt amazing all day! Neither hair nor makeup moved an inch and I was able to wear the extensions she made for me for the rest of the weekend. The whole process took a little longer than I thought- but it's bc Cali is thorough and meticulous and my bridesmaids and I couldn't have been happier with the results. One for my bridesmaids is even planning on using Cali at her own wedding. I would def recommend her and can't wait to work with her again! Thanks Cali!!

Cali is incredible. She arrived on time and took the absolute best care of myself, 7 bridesmaids hair, and make-up for my mother, myself, and my maid-of-honor. We looked stunning. We looked like the best versions of ourselves-not overly made up at all. Everyone's hair stayed all day and into the night and it was a super windy day. It would be a mistake to go with anyone else if you live in the Philadelphia area and want to look fantastic. Thank you so much Cali, best wishes forthe future!

Working with Cali was awesome from start to finish. She did an amazing job not only during my trial but on the big day she far exceeded my already hyped expectations. She also did the hair for each on my ladies and they all looked beautiful! Each girl got their own unique style that not only was flattering to the shape of their face but totally fit their individual personalities. I would totally work with Cali again!!!

But I knew as soon as I saw Cali's portfolio that I found THE Hair and makeup artist. She knew exactly what I wanted and suggested the best look for my features and hair. I love love loved Cali's work! Fabulous! Myself and my bridesmaids looked so beautiful! Cali was accomodating and friendly. All of my girls were very pleased with how their hair looked. And it was 97 degrees and everyone's hair and makeup looked great all night long!

Cali does really beautiful work. My hair looked so smooth and shiny and soft and my curl lasted for 2 days even after I took my hair down. Our makeup was so clean and fresh. I looked and felt like a new woman. I can't wait to get my pictures!
