Carl Alan Creations went above and beyond the call of duty when it came to the floral arrangements for the wedding. They were very professional and informative when we were unsure of what we wanted. As you may know, floral choices can be overwelming but Adam from Carl Alan found a way to make it fun and exciting without the stress. During the whole wedding process (about one year) the bride changed her mind several times but this didn't bother Adam at all... He was very kind and understanding while giving different choices to encompass her new envision. In the end the wedding was a tremendous success! And of coarse the flowers where breathtaking! I give Carl Alan 5 stars for creating magnificent arrangements while providing excellent service.

Cal, Adam and everyone else at Carl Alan Floral Design are fantastic to work with. My flowers were amazing and I knew they would be because of how their consultation process works. When you go in for your consultation you actually create your centerpieces and bouquets right there. This is awesome because before you put out a penny you know your flowers will be exactly how you want them on your wedding day. That type of piece of mind is priceless. They also worked with our budget which some florists were not willing to do.

Flowers were one aspect of wedding planning I was not excited about... until my consultation with Adam from Carl Alan Floral Design. Adam totally respected my budget and gave me flower arrangements that I absolutely loved. This company went above and beyond to give me what I wanted. I felt like family by the end of the experience. Getting to work with Adam and Carl was one of my favorite parts of planning... who knew I could love flowers so much! I would whole-heartedly recommend this company to anyone.

Carl Alan Floral did the bouquet and boutonnières for our wedding, and we had an absolutely magnificent experience with them from beginning to end. When we met with Vito two weeks before the wedding (last minute!) to go over our needs, he was very open, honest, and a clear artist and professional. He was excited about our goals (an all white orchid set). Our centerpiece needs were much simpler, and he was honest when he told us if we didn’t want to spend too much, we might as well make them ourselves, as they can be made from cheaper materials from Ikea, etc, and we’d only be paying them for labor we could do ourselves in 20 minutes. The orchid bouquet and boutonnière set was gorgeous, and everything arrived on time on the wedding day. We throughly recommend them to anyone who knows what they want and enjoys working with professionals...

Carl Alan and his team came highly recommended to me. My mom and I planned a majority of the wedding and are not the most creative people; needless to say we were a bit apprehensive about the hand-on initial design experience for my bouquet and centerpieces. We ended up having the most amazing day with the team at Carl Alan-they helped us put together all of the arrangements for the big day. My mom was thrilled to see that we were actually seeing the flowers that were going to show up on the actual wedding day, and not just a visual image we had to imagine. They were so much fun and very creative and accomodating. Carl himself is very involved and personable. Our designer showed up to the venue the day of and everything turned out absolutely perfect. All of my arrangements were gorgeous and I couldn't be happier with my choice of florist designers. I highly recommend them to any bride!

Carl Alan Floral Designs provided the most beautiful flowers for my daughter's wedding. The chuppah & aisle flowers were breathtaking. The ballroom looked amazing and everyone commented on the magnificent centerpieces. Carl & his staff were wonderful to work with & provided everything we asked for and more. There are not words enough to describe how thrilled I am with the flowers Carl Alan and his team provided at my wedding. I met with Carl unsure of what type of flowers I wanted, or even what color bouquets I wanted, but Carl assured me we would discuss and build the arrangements until I loved them. I didn't think it was possible for me to love flowers, but I definitely did by the time we were finished. The best part of using Carl Alan Floral Designs is that the team builds your bouquets and centerpieces then during your initial visit, so you know exactly what they'll look like on your wedding. That said, the actual bouquets, chuppah, and centerpieces were incredible beyond my expectations. They understood exactly what I wanted, and made it happen, but in a way so much more beautiful than I even thought possible. I recommend them without any reservations.

Our venue had recommended Carl Alan and said that they are one of the more reasonable florists they work with, so we decided to check them out. Then we found out the best part. Carl Alan asked us to send them pictures of all the flowers and arrangements we like, and they ordered all of the flowers in the pictures we sent for our appointment. By the time we left our appointment, we had designed our centerpieces, bridesmaid bouquets and bridal bouquet and seen everything in person. Also, we live in Washington, DC, so we had limited time to meet with vendors, and Carl Alan agreed to meet with us on Christmas Eve – how’s that for dedication? We had a fixed idea of the maximum amount we wanted to spend, and we had met with a florist in the suburbs that didn’t understand our vision and didn’t think it would be possible to meet our budget. The appointment with the other florist involved putting dusty cloth flowers into a dirty cloth bowl… you might say it lacked vision. The team at Carl Alan worked with us to give suggestions on how to meet our budget and still have flowers that we would be very happy with, and the cost of the flowers came in under our budget. Cal Shaw, the owner, was amazing. As he said, it’s not how much money you can spend on flowers, it’s how much money you want to spend. His approach was very refreshing. On wedding day, the flowers were incredible. Everyone told us how amazing the room looked. We could not have been happier, and we would recommend Carl Alan to anyone getting married anywhere remotely close to the Philadelphia area. They are hands down the best florist you can find, and it’s not typical at all to find a florist that will order all the flowers you like just for an appointment.

I had the BEST experience working with the Carl Alan team. They were all extremely professional and were very patient while working with me down to every last detail until I was completely satisfied with my selections. All of my flower arrangements came out AMAZING and was done exactly how I chose them during my consultation. I was completely blown away when I saw how gorgeous my Chuppa turned out. Everyone was extremely helpful at Carl Alan. We actually worked with Kate, who also did my sister's wedding, and she was amazing. They put together your bouquet, a bridesmaid bouquet, and a center piece so you see exactly what you are getting. Kate was very patient as we made a few adjustments and made sure everything was the way we wanted it. The day of the wedding, everything was delivered on time and looked gorgeous. The flowers were unbelievable and I couldn't have been happier. I absolutely loved my bouquet and everything else Carl Alan Designs did for me that day. We knew they would be wonderful from my sister's wedding, but I was blown away. They are incredible!

We could not have been happier with our experience with Carl Alan. From the first meeting, Cal put us at ease by bringing our vision to life right in front of our eyes - something NO OTHER florist did! About a month before the wedding, I wanted to change some things, and in speaking with Cal's designers, felt fully confident to let them execute it. I couldn't believe what I saw on our wedding day - the room was even more beautiful than I had imagined. And our Chuppah was absolutely breathtaking. The designers even came up to my room to help fasten my grandmother's wedding band onto my bouquet, which was such a special touch that I will remember forever. Carl Alan is a staple in the Philadelphia Florist industry. I had various friends recommend them so I made an appointment to check them out. Prior to our consultation they had me send them pictures of flowers and colors that we were attracted to so they could bring in options for us to construct our own bouquets etc. right in their facilitiies. It was AWESOME! Shortly after our visit, they sent us a proposal pricing everything out. The experience taught us so much about the flowers were were interested in and they advised us to "shop around" and contact them if we wanted to proceed. We did just that. We got 2 other estimates that were on the same range as theirs but the lack of professionalism and character of the others made our decision sooo easy. Carl Alan was fantastic! They were so quick to respond to my various emails throughout the process and continuously paid mind to our predetermined budget. The product was beautiful and the service and hospitality was unparallelled. There is no reason to shop around...Carl Alan is the best in the area!!!!

The floral designs went beyond our expectations. They were fresh and the colors were exactly what we wanted. Organized and responsed quickly to our emails. Carl made you feel like a member of his family and he was going to make your day special, he did.

Carl Alan is great. He's funny, adorable, and most of all, MAN does he know his flowers! We communicated with him and his wonderful staff via email before we met with him the first time, and then they ordered a bunch of flowers in the color palette that we were working with. When we got there for our appointment, we worked with his staff to design our arrangements based on our tastes and our budget. It was great to know exactly what we were getting the day of - something we wouldn't have gotten from the other places we had thought about going with. Carl Alan was our first and last stop, and the arrangements were BEAUTIFUL. We could not have asked for a better experience!

The flowers from Carl Alan were incredible. Against Carl's advice, he was the first florist I visited, and also the last. I am Type A, and after seeing the beautifiul bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquet and centerpiece at my first appointment, I was sold. They looked even better on my wedding day. Everything was perfect. The price was very reasonable, and they were very flexible throughout the process.

My daughters flowers, an abundance of calla lilies, were simple but elegant and the vibrant colors in the bridal party bouquets photographed so well. Thanks to Carl Alan’s planning approach and his interest in working within your budget, we chose this florist. We met with his creative and friendly staff and saw what the arrangements were going to look like beforehand. Like magic, they reappeared on her wedding day.
