We found Stacey Halstead and Create the Moment through the internet. We met with her in August 2010 (after several meetings with photographers that didn't go well) - and after ten minutes we knew then and there that we wanted to work with her in planning our wedding, and immediately hired her! There are so many great moments that we had with Stacey over the year that it's difficult to list them all. She answered an unbelievable number of emails from us over the 14+ months that we planned our wedding - always quickly, always friendly and always helpful. Stacey went with us to countless vendor meetings - always making sure that our needs and wants for our big day were met. For the first time we went gown shopping, Stacey was wonderful to have with us - making sure that we were treated well, and that my now-wife got to try on the dresses she wanted. She introduced us to a photography/videography team who we also hired on the spot and who were awesome! Stacey surrounds herself with fantastic professionals who you will be able to rely upon! When it came to the wedding day itself, Stacey and Eileen (her fabulous assistant) were there for twelve hours!! They made sure our enjoyment of our wedding was their first priority and kept everything running smoothly! Our day was so much better for having them there, and we cannot thank them enough! Stacey is a truly remarkable, amazing woman, and we are thankful that we found her and hired her for our wedding!

We hired Stacey as our wedding planner 10 months before our wedding at The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. At the time, we were living in Dallas and planning to move to the Philadelphia area a few months before the wedding. Stacey assisted us in finding excellent vendors and setting up meetings for when we came to town to visit. She offered excellent advice at every turn, and she was absolutely amazing at keeping everything running smoothly. I had the pleasure of seeing Stacey in action in my friend's wedding (she heeded my advice and hired her for her wedding, too) before watching her with amazement at my own. She is simply amazing. Stacey is, by far, one of the sweetest people I have ever met, and she truly loves what she does. But don't let this sweetness fool you! She is no pushover, and she knows exactly what it takes to keep everything running smoothly and in order on your wedding day! There are no words to express our deep gratitude to Stacey for making our day absolutely amazing. She is simply the best!

It honestly does not seem sufficient to give Stacey and her services only 5 stars overall. Excellence in service is rare, and in a service as emotional and challenging as the wedding industry, it is also very difficult to provide. Stacey managed to do it all without batting an eyelash or appearing flustered at any time. Her suggestions for vendors were superb and her advice when we met with challenging circumstances (a surprise October snowstorm) was invaluable. All of the family and friends that had anything to do with her felt her warmth and concern for the bride and groom. She answered phone calls and emails very promptly, communicated clearly with vendors to iron out details and ran the events of the day with precision and grace. She just doesn't charge enough for her services and I told her so. Thank you Stacey for helping us to make our daughter's wedding the calm and joyous occasion it was meant to be.

Wow, I am totally blown away by Stacey. We hired her as our coordinator to basically tie up all our loose ends the month of the wedding and to be the go-to person keeping things running smoothly on our rehearsal & wedding days. She just goes above & beyond! I could not believe how she totally excels at her job - and her enthusiasm and energy are contagious! She is SO friendly and a joy to work with because she truly enjoys what she does. It was almost like having another best friend around on our wedding day because she was constantly making sure that my husband & I were having a great time and she was ready to assist us with whatever we needed (and I needed a lot! Double-sided tape, bustling and stain removal for my dress, water, veil help, etc.). Stacey makes herself affordable by charging an hourly rate instead of a package price, which I think is fantastic because we could use her for as little or as much as we wanted without worry. She is VERY responsive; I never had to wait long at all to get an email back throughout the whole planning process and even after the wedding. She is highly organized and just great at knowing the ins and outs of weddings; there was not a thing that I had to worry about on my wedding day. I seriously owe my wedding to Stacey. While we did most of the planning and the work ourselves leading up to the week of, she did all the last-minute calls and arranging and communicating with vendors and decorating for us. She executed our vision for our wedding flawlessly, and we loved having her around and truly felt like she was solely working for us and our wedding (as things, inevitably, will go wrong the day of, and a lot of vendors are going to look out for themselves). I would highly recommend her to anybody! She is awesome and will work very hard to make sure you have the wedding day that you want to have!

If I could give Stacey 10's on her review I would. I used Create the Moment for my June wedding and am so glad I did. Stacey is full of great ideas and her expertise in wedding planning is evident. During the planning process, Stacey was very accessible and responsive to all my questions/concerns. She made the entire process of planning my wedding so much easier. I also used her for Day of Coordinating and that was probably the BEST decision I ever made. She made the day stress free for me, handling everything with professionalism and grace. My family, many whom at first couldn't understand why I wanted a wedding coordinator, were so impressed of how she coordinated the entire day. Everything ran so smoothly and having her at my wedding was worth every penny (but she's also very affordable!) Not only is Stacey a great wedding coordinator, but she is a great person be around. Stacey went above and beyond for me the day of my wedding, and I highly recommend her.

Stacey and Eileen were amazing! They were so helpful with all the last minute details for my wedding. And on the day, anything I needed they were there for me. Not only were they so patient and friendly, but they really had a way of keeping me calm when there was so much going on. Stacey was always so prompt getting my questions answered and arranging meetings for me. If you are looking for a wedding planner or even just contemplating it, I seriously recommend calling Create the Moment. They will save you so much stress and allow you to really just enjoy being engaged and getting married.

I can not rave enough about Stacey and Create the Moment. She is so knowledgeable about the wedding industry, that she actually ended up SAVING us money because of her links to various other wedding vendors. She is full of creative ideas, but not overbearing. Things that I set as a priority from the beginning remained a priority throughout the entire planning process. This is the clincher... a person told me the night before the wedding that "something always goes wrong in a wedding, so just be prepared." Because of Stacey, that was untrue- I honestly had the perfect wedding day and was able to enjoy every minute of it, not worried about tiny details. She made it happen!

Stacey is super on point and she allows for you to enjoy your day. I am a former (perfectionist) event planner myself, and Stacey is a gem. She is respectful of all involved parties, but makes sure that the show goes on in a fashion that makes everyone happy. She is organized and is excellent at bringing up details and points you might not have thought of. My wedding went so smooth and now I have very happy memories of a flawless day. Stacey will not stop until the event is perfect and "that's not my job" doesn't existent in her vocabulary- a sign of a perfectionist and hard worker. I am grateful for her assistance on my wedding day- her prices are very reasonable and worth every single penny. I highly recommend her.

Stacey was the event planner for my Daughter’s recent wedding and she was fabulous! Stacey is extremely knowledgeable and professional. She is very courteous and respectful in her interactions with people. Everyone in the wedding party loved her! Stacey enabled us to relax and enjoy the day. We had total confidence that if anything went wrong Stacey would handle it. Of course, with Stacey in charge, nothing did go wrong. I highly recommend her!

I cannot imagine having a wedding without Create the Moment, specifically Stacey. Even if I could have managed all the planning in advance, her most valuable service comes the day of. She keeps all of the vendors and guests in order and makes that day literally worry free. When your groomsmen are acting up (and yes, they will act up - even our "good" ones did), Stacey can be the one to get them in line and keeps you from turning into Bridezilla. When the glitches throughout the day come up, Stacey handles them. She is so good at what she does! The value you receive for the cost is absolutely worth every cent, and I would have gladly paid more! If you are considering a wedding planner, Stacey with Create the Moment is the way to go. I will reccomend her to everyone I know. If you are not considering a wedding planner, I would highly recommend trying to build Create the Moment's reasonable rates into your budget. You will not regret it!

Stacey was absolutely amazing for our June 2010 wedding. I was the kind of bride who thought I could do it all, but realized I needed someone there the day of the wedding to really make my vision a reality. Stacey made sure all my to-do's were checked off several weeks before the wedding, and I can say with certainty our wedding day would not have been the same without her support and detailed eye. Our wedding and reception was outdoors at a family estate, so everything from tents to bathrooms and caterer was brought in. She made sure everything was in the exact spot I wanted, even if that meant grabbing a table and moving it to the porch from the lawn herself when the caterers wouldn't listen to me. She ran out to get extra wine when we were at risk of running low, kept everyone in the bridal party and vendors on schedule, and I'm sure countless other details I never even knew about. In addition to the compliments on my dress, hair, etc., our guests couldn't stop talking about two things. 1. Our air conditioned bathroom trailers (it was close to 95 degrees outside). 2. Our wedding planner. I'll never know all the work Stacey put into making our wedding day as perfect as it was, but I continue to hear from family and friends how wonderful she was. Working with Stacey / Create the Moment was a great decision and she comes highly recommended!!

Ok, I know that giving 5 stars for each category seems like I am trying to kiss up. However, my wedding is now over and I don't have to do that at this point. Stacey and Create the Moment are literally worth all 5 stars! I hired Stacey for her "Day of" services just to make sure that things were in order and so I didn't have to stress about anything. Now, I consider myself a really organized person--if not an incredibly organized bride. You have no idea the things that come up on your wedding day that you will need someone like her for! My husband and I still keep saying how invaluable her services were. All day, if anything came up or if someone had a question, you didn't have to worry about it--Stacey was there. For weeks leading up to the wedding, any questions you had or things you needed help with--Stacey was there. She responded to e-mails in record time and had no problem doing anything that needed to be done (example-we forgot to pay the DJ (I know what your thinking--"she can't be that organized if she forgot something that big" but trust me-I am, and this stuff just happens) and she went to our house (albeit 4 blocks from our reception venue, but still) and got our checkbook-out of my husbands briefcase-for us to pay him) It was the biggest relief to know that she was there, and that things that big could be handled without stress or drama. SO, in closing, if you are considering the service of a coordinator, I would tell you to look no further. She is the most reasonably priced for everything she does, and trust me--you will not be sorry you hired her. She is the best! :)

An invaluable resource, she connected us with our photographer, videographer, dj, and florist. I was first referred to Stacey Herreid from Create the Moment by a friend who used Stacey for her day of coordination. Since I happen to be a rather organized person, I wasn't sure if I actually needed her. Well, let me tell you - I NEEDED HER! Stacey is very flexible in what she contracts with you to do - I contracted with her to confirm my vendors and run everything the day of. I have to say she did soooo much more then that. Of course, my mom was great during the planning process - great at doing what needed to be done - without complaint. However, from the moment we signed the contract with Stacey to today (two weeks after the wedding), my mom and I are still saying "Thank God we had Stacey!" Stacey was always there by phone or email offering great suggestions and advice (at no charge) - she continuously checked in and calmed me down (everyone gets panicked). She celebrated milestones with me (six months to go!) and was always happy to hear from me. Her advice was invaluable to the planning process and the logistics the day of. She is extremely detailed oriented and puts you first. Without her, I would have been over stressed the day of and would not have enjoyed my ceremony and reception as much as I did. If you are considering hiring a wedding coordinator, I strongly urge you to contact Stacey. She is invaluable and works great with brides on a budget. My mom and I REALLY enjoyed the entire wedding day and a large reason for that is Stacey! Plus, don't you want to enjoy a day you put so much energy into? (and don't make your bridesmaids handle the coordination as that will put even more stress on you no matter what - they are not professionals - they also want to enjoy the reception and party with you!)

I was married April 19, 2008. Create The Moment helped me every step of the way, and Stacey was fantastic! She was available often, knew what she was talking about in regards to what I needed to do/get/ask, etc. I can tell you that when you are planning a wedding, it can be MORE than overwhelming. Stacey takes away a GREAT deal of that. She also helps you figure out things and remember things that you wouldn't even know you needed to do or know about. She was also acting as an advocate in a lot of situations for my husband and me. I'll give you an example: The place we got married had an outdoor pool. Because of the time of year we got married, they stated that they generally close the pool and cover it with a big, black tarp. Our wedding was outside, and the pool would have been right beside where we had our ceremony. It would have been an eyesore. Stacey fought to have the pool not only remain open until after our wedding, but be full of fresh, clean water. She really had to push and fight, but we got our way and it shows in the pictures!! One other example: The day OF my wedding, she stayed available through the ceremony. About 25 minutes before the wedding was to start, my dad tried on his tux and realized that it didn't fit. It was too short. Stacey was on the phone immediately with the tux place and sent someone out to get a new tux. My dad basically threw the new tux on and was walking me down the aisle JUST in time. The BEST part of that is that I had NO idea any of it happened until after the ceremony! So Stacey took care of it all and I could enjoy my day and not add to the nerves. She is really amazing, highly professional, and easy to work with. I would highly recommend her.
