D & J DJ Service

Don is unbelieveable! Music was very important to mefor my reception, and I was so horrified to even begin the search. Don called me and scheduled a consultation (something no other DJ would do), at the consultation he went through how he does a typical wedding and we just knew he was the DJ for us (scheduling him almost a year in advance). Don had no problem keeping in touch with me and answering/asking any questions that arose. The night of the reception, the dance floor was packed ALL night long thanks to Don knowing how to read the crowd and keep the vibe going. He did a fabulous job, and I couldn't have asked for a better DJ. Thank you Don for making our night wonderful and fun!

We cannot say enough good things about D&J DJ Service or about our DJ, Greg Aluise. We met with the owner, Don, who was very attentive to what we were looking for for our wedding. After meeting with us, he matched us up with Greg. Greg called us before the wedding to go over every thing with us and make sure he had all of the pronunciations right for announcements and went over our song list with us. He made it easy for us to contact him with any other requests in the week leading up to the wedding. They offered us a variation on my Father Daughter Dance because of a line we wanted removed from the song. The wedding day itself went perfect. Greg played the right music at the right time and had the entire crowd dancing (even those who dont' typically dance). Once the dance floor was filled it never emptied until the end of the night. He gaged our friends/family perfectly and knew what would keep the party going. We had so many compliments on how good the DJ was. We would recommend both D&J and Greg to any bride. Don definitely selected the perfect fit for our wedding.

Don from D & J kept the dance floor full the entire nite. He came to "hit out of the park" and did completely. He played a mix of today and everyone favorites and kept the dance party rolling the whole nite long! Party rockers were in the house the nite of my wedding!

Highly recommended, and I see why. After meeting with Don Timlin my husband and I came away thinking this guy really knows his stuff. We let him know what we had in mind and he added things to make our night even more special. DJ Super Dan was the one who actually DJ'ed at the wedding and the dance floor was packed all night. The guests said it was a great selection of songs.Thank you Don and Super Danfor making our reception a memory that will last a lifetime!!!

We were lucky enough to get Don Timlin as our DJ and he was fantastic! When we met with him he could almost tell just looking at us what kind of music that we would want at our wedding! It was awesome how he worked in different genres of music for each part of the wedding! It gave the cocktail hour, dinner time and dancing each its own distinct feel! My family loves to dance and I have to say he certainly had everyone out on the dance floor including the oldest member of the family - my great uncle! We were not overly organized in when we wanted to do the bouquet toss and first dances but he managed to find good times for them throughout the wedding without messing up the flow of everyone dancing on the dance floor. Our reception venue was a unique venue with just a large outdoor porch as the dance floor and he set everything up perfectly to stage it just right! I really appreciate D&J's flexibility and expertise - its what helped make our wedding day a real success!

Don Timlin at D&J DJ Services is by far the best of the best! My husband and I didn't have much time to plan the wedding, but Don helped us through one of the most complicated parts... our 10-course Chinese style wedding banquet for a small group of 80 people. We wanted to make sure everyone enjoyed the music and got up to dance. Don made it happen! He was kind, patient, and really cared about our vision. D&J is awesome! Don was the DJ for our wedding ceremony as well as our reception. Our dance floor was packed the whole night & everyone had a blast! Don definitely made our reception lively & I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for an awesome DJ!!!

I cut out any traditional wedding type songs that I felt like interrupted the fun like, Macarena, Celebration, the Chicken dance and the Twist. There was rarely a time when everybody wasnt dancing. I t was sooo much fun.

I saved interviewing DJs for last, because I had no interest in meeting with any of them. All I could think about were their tacky, fake personalities (no offense Don-he's way different than the rest). We did meet with a couple of those, but when we met with Don, we hit it off right away. He was very easy to get along with, and he is soo funny! He was nothing like what I expected, and that was a GOOD thing. I was unfortunate enough to be born with no rhythm whatsoever, so my dancing skills are pretty funny (another reason I was dreading the DJ meeting). Don made me feel so comfortable, and during our wedding night he played only music that everyone could dance to (rhythm or not they were songs you HAD to dance to-ex: Bust A Move). Don actually has a whole DJ science down, and unlike other DJs he pays attention to songs and their beats per minute and a bunch of other things most of us never think about. Aside from the music, he did an amazing job making everyone involved in the wedding feel comfortable, and he distracted the crowd when my friend couldn't find her speech. I have never laughed so hard in my life as I did during my reception, and Don definitely had something to do with that.

Although I had to cancel my wedding I still had Don play at the would be event that I turned into something else and it was fantastic! He absolutely MADE the party by the music he played and kept all the guests dancing and having a good time! When I do get married he will be the DJ I book, AGAIN, with no regard! Thanks Don!-Brandy

Don went above and beyond to accomadate the music i liked and to set up 2 sound systems which were necessary bc of the layout of our wedding venue

They rock. At our initial consultation, the guy we worked with was very receptive. At the wedding, everything went off perfectly. Great job.

Don did an excellent job as our wedding DJ. From the very first time I met him, I could tell that he was a professional at his job. He even placed to the very last minute of our reception. He kept people dancing an involved the entire time!

D & J DJ Service did an exceptional job at our wedding. We have reccommeded several people to them since our wedding. They were very accomodating to all my suggestions and when the wedding nerves set in they were the calming voice. Going into my wedding, the only thing that I was 100% confident about was the service I was getting in my DJ. He had everyone on the floor dancing ALL night. I have had the opportunity to see them in action as a guest at another wedding not just my own and there attention to every detail during the wedding was amazing. I would reccommend them to anyone!

Don made my wedding spectacular! All the guests at my wedding are raving about the DJ. Don sat down with my husband and me and discussed the style and type of wedding we had in mind. We then worked with him to create a list of songs and discuss the equipment we would need. Don was professional and fun without being cheesey. He played music that had the whole place on their feet all night. I cannot say enough positive things about D&J DJ Services. Once you talk with Don, you will know what a good decision it is to book him for your wedding!

DJ Bob was great. I've seen him in action twice now - he keeps the dance floor packed all night long. Very friendly and easy to work with.

D&J Services did an AWESOME job at our wedding reception on June 12, 2010. We are still getting compliments on our reception, and people are still talking about how much fun they had. Having a great DJ can make or break a reception, and Don of D&J certainly did make it our reception. He kept the dance floor packed and gave us the party we wanted. I would definitely recommend D&J!
