Don Eaton Band

I was extremely happy with every aspect of the Don Eaton Band. Don helped us plan our wedding ceremony & reception down to the minute which kept everything on time and not a minute wasted. They learned songs that were imporatant to us and knew how to read the crowd. The entire band was wonderful throughout the evening - always smiling and having fun while they performed. The dance floor was packed the entire night. My guests wont stop talking about the how amazing the band was. Worth every penny - and more!

We had the Don Eaton Band play our wedding on 9/30/11. Don's planning and input prior to our big day was priceless and we can't begin to put into words how great the band was throughout the entire evening. Here was the note we sent to Don after our wedding... "THANK YOU for making our wedding a HUGE success. Three weeks later and we're still having people tell us "how amazing the band was" and "best wedding ever". I can't even count how many people have told us this since our wedding. Your song selection and high energy had US and our guests, young and old, on our feet all night. People couldn't believe how well you guys performed the songs and numerous people told us they have never been to a wedding where so many people were dancing. We couldn't be happier that we booked the Don Eaton Band, we know that our wedding wouldn't have been as perfect without you guys, so we are forever grateful. The version of Ray's "You Are the Best Thing" for our first dance was absolutely perfect! You made it an evening we can never forget, from start to finish and your input and guidance throughout the whole planning process made the entire night go off without a single issue. Again, thank you for making our wedding perfect, you guys rock!"

My daughter had her wedding 2 weeks ago and I'm still getting phone calls about how wonderful the band was. The sound was outstanding. The band had the guest on the dance floor from the beginning on the night to the end of the night. Some band members even got out and danced with us. Will highly recommend Don Eaton to everyone. We had the Don Eaton Band at our wedding on 8/13/2011. They are an amazing wedding band and we are so glad they were able to celebrate with us! The band has everything you want in a wedding band: great singers, awesome horn section, plays a variety of music, organized, and very professional! They helped us organize our night around what we wanted and They kept the party going all night!

Don Eaton Band is that rare combination of all the elements that you want in a wedding vendor: professional, organized, responsive, a pleasure to work with, and absolute experts in their field. These musicians are top notch. All of our guests are still raving about them and so are we. Don Eaton Band kept the night perfectly on track while keeping the party going strong.

I can't say enough wonderful things about the Don Eaton band. I've been to about 5 weddings where the bride and groom had a band and I never heard people chant "one more song" at the end of the night until my wedding. The Don Eaton Band brought the house down my friends and family are still talking about it. You would be doing not only yourself but also your guests a disservice if you don't hire them.

Amazing band!!! Don and his band played for my wedding on July 4, 2011. His professionalism and attention to detail is like no other. Don spent hours with me on the phone creating a timeline of the entire evening. His suggestions and creativity added just the right touches to our wedding. It was flawless. Don and his band captured all generations of the crowd and had us dancing all night long. It is true, "music can make or break your wedding" and in my case the Don Eaton band made for a spectacular evening. Thanks Don!!

In comparison to other bands we've heard, the Don Eaton Band was definitely the top choice, and our guests agreed! We heard such positive praise for the band all night, and we continue to hear it today. Don played the perfect mix of music, ensuring that the dance floor was packed all night - even playing an extra song to the request of the crowd! Of all the decisions that go into planning a wedding, I would say that choosing the entertainment is one of the top priorities in ensuring a great evening, and you can't go wrong with the Don Eaton Band! Don was fantastic with his feedback, professionalism, and responsiveness. I think I spoke with him on the phone for at least 3 hours before we signed him for our Center City wedding. His band was fantastic for our wedding... I have family who operate recording studios in NYC that cater to artists who regularly top the Billboard 100 and they were in attendance and thought Don and his band were fantastic. Definitely worth the price if you want a wedding band who can engage the crowd. My only criticism was that Don & Co. went a little rogue on our music list... he encouraged and we sent him a large selection of songs from his catalogue "to play" and yet he still went "off menu" on a few songs.... my wife and I kept glancing at each other because several of the were songs we had painstainkly culled from our playlist catalogue... but in the end, it didn't matter very much as Don & Co. kept the place rocking all night. Again, very professional, an excellent sound, and they really kept our wedding going. If we had gone with one of the generic band companies, like Brandywine Valley Talent, or EBE, it would not have worked whatsoever with our crowd of NYC and Philly Center City folks. Not at all. Don Eaton Band blew all of our expectations out of the water. Thank you so much for making it absolutely the best night of our lives. Your ability to adapt throughout the night and read the crowd was amazing, and the variety and selection of songs was ideal. From Katy Perry to the Grateful Dead to Etta James - fantastic! Don Eaton and his band were fantastic for our daughter's June wedding! Don was not only very organized, reliable, and enthusiastic, but also his band was fabulous. They played everything that the bride and groom asked for, and paid attention to all of the details around the evening events. The musicians and vocalists were extremely talented professionals. Don not only led his band, but also guided us through the evening planning. He offered so much more than we expected from a band leader. His experience with weddings shined through the entire night. Don Eaton was very easy to work with and provided a fantastic sound and atmosphere for our wedding. They were able to choreograph the events of the wedding seamlessly so that the flow of our night was flawless. Our guests have not stopped telling us what a great sound this band had. The dance floor was never empty!

Don Eaton and the band are real musicians who are passionate about their work -- and put on one of the best shows you will ever see at a wedding. Don goes above and beyond the call of a wedding band director -- he designs spectacular events. He worked with us to lay out the flow of our evening in a way that was entertaining and original, and which kept everyone on the dance floor for a very long time! He was very deeply involved in the planning of the event in the weeks prior to the wedding and had great recommendations that made our wedding perfect. Don even stood behind my husband and I as our "personal security" during the entree course to ensure that we ate, and that no one would bother us for pictures or hugs. This was unexpected but such a sweet touch! EVERYONE commented on how great the music is -- one of our uncles even said that Don Eaton was the best band he's ever heard at a wedding. I think that's because they're not a "wedding band" ... they've been playing together for over a decade so are not like those bands from big talent companies that are thrown together, change members, use freelancers, etc. DEB have the best voices that I'd heard in any wedding band. And since my husband's main requirement was that the band have awesome horns, this band was the perfect choice. DEB's flawless planning and execution really allowed us to relax on the wedding day, and have FUN! I never thought I'd be able to dance so much, so hard, at my own wedding! Not only that, but Don was so wonderful about incorporating my sister (a professional singer) into the night's music. Being able to see and hear her perform alongside their 10-piece band is a memory I (and my entire family) will never, never forget.

The Don Eaton Band provided my family with excellent service from the first event we met until the final song of our wedding. They were prompt, professional, friendly,and up to the minute with their list of songs. We had a great time working with each of the members because we felt comfortable and as though we were the most important event they ever played for. We have already booked them for our next wedding in December. All of our guest insisted they were the best wedding band ever!!!

When choosing a band for our wedding, they had to be absolutely perfect! We were looking for someone who would be professional, organized, timely, engaging, and overall EXCELLENT musicians. We found all of this and more in the Don Eaton Band. Every band member was friendly to not only to me and my groom, but every single person at my wedding. Don organized and coordinated my entire wedding along with my venue seamlessly. Everything ran smoothly and every requested song was played! He took time to make me feel comfortable with how the entire day would run. The Don Eaton Band even learned the song “Sway” for us just because we love it! I had a difficult venue for a band to play in, but the entire Don Eaton Band handled it flawlessly (a 12-story open building is no easy task!). I am pleased to recommend this band to anyone I meet! We have received multiple compliments on how wonderful our wedding was, especially the band! Thank you so much for all your hard-work and enthusiasm at my wedding. The greatest wedding band that you will ever hire. Don is such a great organizer and provided us with memories that we and all of our guests will never forget. He was like have our own wedding planner too as he organized everything. Well worth the price and I can say that he and his band made the night one of the greatest events that most of our guests had ever had. Thanks Don and all of the band.
