Father James St. George

Father Jim was such a delight to work with. He made the ceremony planning so easy. He was always quick to respond to questions and helped in any way he could. I have no criticisms because he was absolutely wonderful! I have heard from so many of our guests what a wonderful job he did. They are still raving about him! He made our wedding day so perfect and special! Thank you Father Jim for everything you did...it made our day that much more memorable!

Fr. Jim is fantastic!He was so professional yet felt like a close friend. I am truly grateful for everything he has helped us with during our planning. Our wedding day was beautiful. We knew it would be difficult (if not impossible) to find a Catholic officiant since our wedding ceremony would not be in a church, so were very happy when we read about Father Jim & St. Miriam Parish and all the stellar reviews. Their open and accepting message was a breath of fresh air! Father Jim was very responsive during the planning process. He sent us a ton of options for our ceremony and vows and we feel like what we chose was written just for us. Father Jim had a great sense of humor and a constant sense of calm that helped us enjoy our ceremony and still be moved by the meaning. I feel truly blessed that he participated in our special day.

We found Monsignor Jim through the Wedding Wire website. After reading about him and his church, St. Miriam's in Blue Bell, PA on the internet, we became convinced that we wanted him to officiate over our wedding. When we met with him the first time, it was apparent that we had made the right choice. He is very personable and compassionate. We now attend church services periodically and really enjoy his sermons. The church is very welcoming to all. The groom's family is Italian Catholic so it was important to incorporate that in the ceremony while we also wanted it to be personal and spiritual. We wanted to honor the groom's decease father and our children from previous marriages. We needed to include Italian during the ceremony for the groom's mother who spoke little English. Monsignor Jim was patient and accommodating, helping us to accomplish that. Both of us were extremely nervous the day of our wedding and he brought a calming effect to our ceremony, he engaged our guests and was able to quickly recover (even joking) during the minor "oops" - no lighter for unity candle and we forgot the Italian phrases. Our families were very impressed by Monsignor Jim. We could not have been more pleased with our ceremony and now have beautiful memories to last us a lifetime. We would highly recommend Monsignor Jim for both wedding ceremonies and church services.

Father Jim was great. He was very accommodating and professional. He was great with communication. All those in attendance thought very highly of the way he conducted the ceremony. We are very happy that he was our officiant.

I was worried about holding it together for my ceremony as my family is deceased. I was afraid that the celebratory side of the sacrament would be lost by my mourning those who were not with us. Father Jim treated the situation with care and dignity and helped us work a tribute into the ceremony that was uplifting. With Father Jim at the altar you cannot forget that your wedding day is a celebration! He emotes love, honesty and joy! Everyone of my guests mentioned the ceremony during the reception saying that it was "amazing' and "memorable". My now husband and I are truly thankful for Father Jim and recommend him highly!

After we were referred to Father Jim, it only took a few minutes into his Mass we attended at St. Miriam's in Blue Bell for us to feel like we had found our match. Father Jim is compassionate and kind. He helped make our wedding day so special and unique. I am Protestant and my husband is Catholic. Father Jim did a fantastic job in helping us include Catholic traditions into our ceremony, which was very important to my husband and his family. It was also the perfect blend of prayer and spirituality. He is warm and inviting, and helped us plan our day so simply. Father Jim offers many options to help customize the ceremony. He was extremely prompt in replying to our questions and giving us feedback to create our ceremony. Our family and friends were very impressed with him and we received many compliments. Most of all, Father Jim had a great sense of humor and emotionality that we had not found with other officiants. I would recommend him to anyone, and know you would not be disappointed.

Father Jim was everything you could ask for in an officiant- he was extremely attentive, assuring and caring. He really helped make our day truly special!

I can't say enough good things about Father Jim. I found him at the last moment, one month before my wedding when my priest had to unexpectedly cancel. Father Jim went out of his way to help me plan the perfect ceremony on short notice. My family and friends couldn't say enough good things about him after the ceremony. If I ever decide to renew my vows, I will definitely ask Father Jim to be a part of that celebration as well.

Father Jim was perfect as our officiant! Our ceremony was custom built by us, with his help, he was always quick to respond to any questions and his delivery was well presented and clear. Several of our guests complimented how beautiful our ceremony was and how well Father Jim delivered it. You can't go wrong with Father Jim!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Father Jim. He is such a wonderful man and he helped to make our wedding ceremony so special. Fr. Jim worked with my husband and I to create a beautiful custom wedding and happily honored our requests to include certain details throughout the ceremony. He was so patient with my many questions and requests and always responded to me quickly. We went to visit him at his church (St. Miriam's) prior to our wedding and it was so evident how many people he has moved and how many lives he has touched. He certainly left a beautiful mark in our lives. SO many of our guests mentioned to us what an excellent speaker Fr. Jim was and how beautiful the ceremony was. Father Jim provided us with the most beautiful ceremony! We were so happy that he was available to officiate our wedding, as he had done a lovely ceremony for our very good friends a few months ago. It was important for some of our family members for us to be married by a Catholic priest, so even though myself and my now husband are not practicing Catholics, we felt incredibly comfortable with Father Jim and were honored that he could be part of our day. It was especially important that he was able to do our ceremony outside of a Catholic church. We love the message of his parish to welcome and accept ALL people. He made the whole process incredibly easy with his flexible ceremony options and prompt responses to our questions and feedback. To me, Father Jim provided us with the best combination of a traditional Catholic ceremony with a modern mindset. And he reads the ceremony from his iPad, which our guests thought was really cool!

Father Jim really went above and beyond for us. He was very understanding compassionate and made us feel like he truly cared. I would recommend him to any bride wanting to get married. I have also attended his masses and they are always interesting and enlightening. You will not be disappointed! On a side note, having attended services, his baptisms are also very nice which maybe something to think about in the future. From the moment we met Father James St. George we knew he was the one that we wanted to perform our ceremony. He was outstanding even though our wedding was in 110 degree heat. He was very quick on our email response time. We wish we could plan another wedding that way we could see him again! I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Father Jim. My husband and I were very fortunate to have had fantastic, professional vendors for all areas of our wedding, but Father Jim was probably the best person we worked with out of everyone. From the beginning he was so very accommodating - because of him, our ceremony was personal, beautiful, and meaningful. He was confident and knew what he was doing, but he also included us every step of the way. I loved that we had input as to what he said, the non-traditional readings, writing our own vows, etc. And because we didn't marry in a church, it meant a lot to our religious family members to have someone incorporate God into the ceremony. During the cocktail hour, Father Jim was the star - everyone, religious or not, wanted to talk with him! Before our wedding day, I would have said that he was ideal since he is one of the only priests who will marry a couple outside of the church; however, after our wedding, I'd say he's ideal for that reason and so many more. Thank you, Father Jim, for making our ceremony so incredibly special.

Father Jim was able to arrange his schedule and find a way to celebrate our wedding even though he already had another event planned on the same day.He really worked with us to make our wedding ceremony as personal as possible. As a couple who had no idea what to expect going into the process of finding an officiant for our wedding, Father Jim certainly exceeded our expectations. Despite the fact that he had another ceremony to attend after ours, he was totally focused, warm, and funny during our ceremony. Our guests loved his demeanor, and he took the stress out of the entire process for us. If you're looking for an uber-responsive (never interacted with a priest who has a blackberry before), warm, and accomodating officiant for your wedding, you can't go wrong with Father Jim.
