This was my son's wedding. The staff went above and beyond, the food was wonderful and the grounds beautiful. Cathy was great to work with, very knowledgeable and helpful. Fran made sure everything went smoothly. Couldn't have asked for more.

Having tarps or some kind of mat outside leading to the bathroom trailer would be helpful, especially when it rains and it gets muddy. Also, perhaps some lighting would be helpful so guests (especially older ones) can find their way to the bathroom without falling or tripping.

From the first contact to our wedding date, Jack, Cathy, and the Memorable Affairs team were the height of responsiveness, professionalism, class, and good taste. I work full time and live a 6 hour drive from Doylestown, and they were incredibly responsive and flexible in arranging meeting times. I preferred to do most of my communication via email, and always got a response within 1 day - often within 1 hour, and they were able to answer every question and grant any request we had. I was never made to feel that my endless questions were annoying or stupid. Most importantly the days leading up to our big day and the wedding day itself were flawless. Everything was exactly as it was meant to be, and better, and they easily handled any last minute requests. The wedding party had our own attendant, and she was relaxed, friendly, and professional. I can not say enough about the quality of our wedding at Fonthill with Memorable Affairs. Their history in the business and excellent reputation equal an unforgettable wedding day, and a worry-free bride and groom.

Our July wedding was at Fonthill Museum in Doylestown, PA. I am a wedding professional in New York City and had high expectations. First of all, this location is so incredibly beautiful. We held our ceremony on the same property at the Moravian Tileworks (which only adds a $300 county permit to the cost). The cocktail hour is on a terrace connected to an inner room and the reception was in the tent which is beautifully detailed with a draped ceiling and chandeliers. This property has so many unbelievably gorgeous locations for wedding pictures. We loved that this venue is a historical property with a very real sense of character. There is nothing artificial or cheesy about it. Since this venue is in gorgeous Bucks County, many of our guests made a fun weekend out of the trip and visited other attractions in the area. This venue has an exclusive caterer, Memorable Affairs. I was concerned about not having a choice of caterer, but it turned out to be perfect. Please read my review of Memorable Affairs, but they delivered spectacularly both in taste and service.

Memorable Affairs did a great job in catering for our wedding at Fonthill castle. Fran did an amazing job with coordinating the whole event....from the ceremony to the dinner to the bouquet toss. The food was great, the venue was awesome and the service was 5 stars! Thank you Memorable Affairs!

Jack and Kathy were extremely accomodating to my requests. Attentiveness at its finest both before and during the wedding. I wouldnt have changed a thing. In addition to catering, Memorable Affairs helps with any questions that you may have as far as planning everything. Quite helpful . And the day of the ceremony coordinator was phenomenal as well . I can not recall her name right now....but she was fantastic. Highly highly recommend....(and im super picky)

At first glance, I though we could not afford a venue like Fonthill but we fell in love with it as soon as we stepped foot on the property and Memorable Affairs helped make our dream a reality. Our wedding was truly magical. I highly recommend trusting your day to Memorable Affairs. Their service was top notch all through the planning process, and on the big day. And the food was some of the best that I've ever had at a wedding. The food at the wedding was so much better than at the tasting! The cake! I am dying for some more...it was that good!

If you are looking for something different, more personal and more aesthetic than the typical hotel ballroom, this location is ideal. It is far more reasonable price wise than many of the estates in the area. Things to be aware of are that it is mainly and outdoor venue, with the reception in a beautiful and solid tent (you feel like you are inside unless you choose to open the sides), cocktail hour in the museum and ceremony outdoors. If it rains, your ceremony will have to be in the tent. Music has to be off by 10pm and you have to pay extra for your guests to see the museum. Because of the colors, the natural beauty and the architecture every single one of our photos is gorgeous and we spent very little on flowers and decor. You can make it as formal or informal as you wish and no matter what it will feel romantic and tasteful and your guests will be comfortable. Fonthill provided a sense of liberation (you are so far from the road it feels like a party in the middle of a forest) and beauty that I think is a rare combination in a wedding venue and every single guest raved about the atmosphere.

Overall my husband and I had a beautiful wedding day (despite rain!) and were very happy with the venue and vendors that we chose. A few things that I would share as constructive criticism... -emails were not responded to in a timely matter and when I did receive a response it was often a one liner that often did not answer my questions -bathroom feels like you are in a dungeon - concrete everything, one room...I didn't even think to put a flower bouquet or basket of essentials to cheer it up a bit - would recommend it. also a sign...guests had to constantly ask where the bathroom was and had to walk to it in the rain!! -the sides of the tent were rolled up to let in some cool breeze as the weather was rainy and humid. leaves blew in all over the floor..it would have been nice if they had been swept up from time to time -due to the rain we had only short windows of opportunity for pictures. we were not allowed up on the terrace until 30 minutes before the ceremony. I thought they could have been flexible given the circumstances but they were not and they were rather rude about us asking those are some of the things that stick out in my mind again for the most part we were very happy with the quality provided and the wedding day as a whole
