I cannot say enough positive remarks about Groove Place. My husband and I hired them to play at our wedding cocktail hour and reception. They added the perfect atmosphere to the wedding. During the cocktail hour, they had select members of the band playing jazz standards. It was very classy and made for nice background music. This was perfect because people could still do all of the normal chatting that cocktail hour usually consists of but with great music in the background. The lead male vocalist is also the MC. He did a great job with announcing the wedding party. Groove Place learned our first dance song. They were so accomodating in making sure that the songs that we wanted to hear were played. Dana Camacho is the band leader and he is great. He responds to all emails almost instantaneously. He met with us before the wedding to map out a plan. When we left the meeting, we knew we were in good hands. Dana is receptive to ideas and is great at suggesting things that you may not have thought of. The crowd at my wedding raved about Groove Place. I have been getting calls and emails from my guests raving about the band. They have been saying that the band was fantastic and that they hope to get to see them again. Hire Groove Place to play at your wedding!!! You will not regret it!!

An exceptional band. We were told that guests would be on the dance floor from song number 1 and they actually were! This band really made the reception a great success. They listened to what we wanted and carried it out flawlessly.

Groove Place had our entire party dancing and we received an overwhelming response from our wedding guests. Everybody LOVED them! They are easy to work with, professional, motivated, take a deep interest in your special event, had the best price and blew the roof off the party. They were able to feel the vibe from our party and deliver on our wishes. Groove Place exceeded our expectations and totally rocked. We did a lot of searching and couldn't be happier with our choice. Seriously, there is no need to hesitate when booking this band, the bride and I couldn?t be happier.

Let me begin by saying that my wife and I are music nerds. Dana and his team were extremely kind and considerate. They offered to let me play a song with the band, learned four songs and helped us craft a set list that hit all the right notes. They sounded as good as or better than any of the bands we ever looked at; and I�m including bands that cost FIVE TIMES as much. Guests remarked how some songs sounded just like the originals and the energy and musicianship were absolutely fantastic.
