Groove Place played at my wedding at the Horticultural Center in Philadelphia on March 24. I was absolutely thrilled with their performance. Jazz during cocktail hour was perfect for setting the atmosphere. Once the reception started, they had everyone up on the dance floor from the very beginning. Their energy was amazing, and it never let up for the entire night. They had the entire wedding (including all the horn players) weaving around the room in one of the best congo lines I've ever been a part of. They played a great collection of songs, and they did an excellent job with our wedding song, which they learned for the event. The lead singers did an amazing job, the horns were fantastic, and Dana was excellent - responsive, had great suggestions, was very organized, and extremely easy to work with. We received so many compliments about the band - everyone at the wedding had something good to say about them. I absolutely recommend Groove Place.

Groove Place was amazing! They were wonderful from beginning to end. They were so helpful picking songs, they even learned songs for us. Planning was a breeze with them. During the reception, they were flexible when some of the music order changed. The dance floor was packed all night, and people kept coming up to us to tell us how great the band was. We HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who is looking for an awesome band. They were an awesome value. THANK YOU DANA AND GROOVE PLACE!

Hiring Groove Place was the best decision we made for our reception. Groove Place sounded a-maz-ing, and had everyone up dancing and having a great time. I would reccomend them to anyone. They learned our first song and performed it perfectly. They also learned some other music for us. What a great experience and no hassle at all. You know how planning a wedding reception can be. Groove Place made the music part of the reception a breeze. We worried about NOTHING. If you want a talented, classy, fun and experienced band for your wedding (or any event I am sure), GROOVE PLACE IS IT!!! No need to look any further. Groove Place was an absolute joy to work with. They responded immediately when we first inquired about their services, and quickly set up a time for us to come listen to them. We knew that we wanted to book them as soon as we heard them play, and didn't regret it for an instant. They allowed us to pick practically every song they played at our reception, as well as how we wanted the night to go. Our guests loved them and had a great time; we will never forget the experience we had at our reception!

The Groove Place music was more then great it was fabulous. Great wedding band. Our guests are still taking about the band. They provided everything they said they would. They had our guest dancing all night. It was a pleasure working with them, they were eager to please us. We would recomend their services for anyone needing music.

Groove Place was an excellent choice of bands for our party. They were professional, on time and GREAT musicians. We thoroughly enjoyed them and their music. Groove Place was very flexible, and learned new songs at our request. They are all around a super band, and a super value. I would reccomend them to anyone.

Groove Place played at my Dad's 60th birthday party and they were absolutely amazing. From my first phone call with Dana, through all of the planning, to the actual day of the party, they were so easy to work with, were very flexible to last minute changes/requests, and put on the an amazing performance. They had everyone up on the floor dancing. I don't think I stopped dancing all night. In fact, they barely even took a break! They were also very good with the crowd, and incorporated them into their performance. for the entire night. At one point, the saxophonist was leading the entire party through the venue in a congo line, while playing "Love Train." I can honestly say that they made the night. My mother and I are still getting emails, phone calls and letters from people saying how great of a time they had, and asking who the band was. Thanks Groove Place!!

Best Band our guests have ever heard. If you want a fabulous dance party this is the band to have at your wedding. Wonderful to deal with...very accommodating!!! would highly recommend...you won't be dissapointed!!

Groove place had the family and friends up and dancing before the night even got started. They were easy to work with and very flexible. The Set list was perfect. They even learned one of my original songs and performed it with me!! These guys were awesome...from singing to harmony to wireless Sax Solos... I don't just recommend them... Hi Our band was fabulous. They did every song we wanted and learned our wedding song. I couldn't of been happier. Everyone was dancing all night at our wedding. I highly recommend them for your next event!!!!

GroovePlace is the best wedding band I have ever seen and boy have I have seen a ton. Prior to our wedding day I had never actually seen them live. Two of my friends had, one was the bride and one a bridesmaid, and they could not praise them enough. We watched all the videos and listed to all the demos and they can’t compare the seeing GP live. The warm response and professionalism we received from Grooveplace goes unmatched. We went with the sight unseen based on the feeling we had. Dana goes above and beyond and after booking these guys we knew the wedding would be a success. The dance floor was packed from the first song (7 p.m.-12 p.m.) until the last with crowd even chanting "One more song!" Pleasing everyone one from 21-91 these guys (and gal) just knocked it out of the park. My sister should be getting engaged within the next few weeks and I think we will greatly disappoint our family and friends by not booking them again! So mnay people have complimented us on the choice of band and the variety of music they play so well. Go with Grooveplace for your wedding and you will not regret it.

I cannot speak highly enough of Groove Place. We are still getting compliments from our guests more than two months later. Dana was accommodating, professional, and above all else responsive, he was a pleasure to work with.

So what can I say. Some professionals are dedicated and some go over the top. Groove place went over the top. Anyone could have canceled their sevrvices based on the biggest hurricane of the decade but not Groove Place they showed up ready to rock the crowd which they did. I cannot thank them enough for sticking it out and making our daughter's wedding a huge success. How bout learning the song Rock me like a Hurricane with hours to spare so the bride and groom could use this for their entrance song. They are all great people and very down to earth. Groove Place is AWESOME!!! They have the friendliest band members who really enjoy interacting with the crowd - they keep your guests up and dancing!!! Would definetely recommend them to brides looking for a great, entertaining band for their wedding! They learned our entrance song the night before our wedding since it was during a hurricane - we wanted them to sing "Rock You Like a Hurricane" and they did - true troopers as they all traveled from pretty far places in the middle of Hurricane Irene!

What a great band! From the cocktail hour, to the first dance, to the tasteful dinner music, and finally to the wild and crazy dance floor, Dana Camacho and Groove Place kept everyone at our wedding snapping, tapping, and dancing all night long. Cairnwood Mansion may never be the same! Not only did they learn the first dance for us, but they played the songs we requested, and took very little break time. No one wanted the music to end. Anyone who wants fantastic music with a great variety of selections, professional service, and all-around great musicians should definitely book Groove Place. We can’t thank them enough for their outstanding performance and for making our wedding an unforgettable evening of music, dancing, and fun.

Groove Place was AMAZING!! They made the reception and people continue to talk about how great the band was. Everyone ages 5-75, were dancing almost the entire night. The only complaint was that the dance floor was too crowded! Dana and the GP gang were friendly, professional, fun, and flexible. Groove Place truly made our wedding reception the dance party we wanted. I highly recommend them to any bride!

Groove Place was the perfect choice for our wedding reception. The band leader Dana was incredibly professional and really knows what he is doing. He met with us several weeks before the wedding and talked through details and took the time to figure out what we really wanted. The band was also extremely flexible and were able to take all of our special requests in stride. They cover such a wide array of music that there is something for everyone. Groove Place had the dance floor packed all night long and was such a hit with our guests that we haven't stopped receiving compliments about them.

Dana and his band Groove Place performed at our wedding on July 16, 2011. They were very professional and an absolute pleasure to work with. I am not the easiest customer and am very demanding. They met my every need without any complaints. They learned our First Dance and the Mother/Son song which they did beautifully. For a 10 piece band their pricing is unbeatable. I did much research on bands and listened to about 6 different ones before making my decision, out of all of them they were hands down the best (even better then the $10k band we looked at). All of the guests at the wedding are still commenting on how much they loved the band and how a live band was a nice touch. I would highly recommend them for your wedding or any special occasion and I will be using them again in the future. Thanks Groove Place for everything.

Wow!!! Groove Place performed at our wedding on July 2nd at the Crystal Tea Room and boy were they amazing! We had gone to check out many bands and they were definitely our favorite! I wanted a big horn band and that is what we got! Dana, the leader of the band was great to work with! They played music that appealed to every person in the crowd and kept the dance floor packed from the first dance on! All of our guests had such a great time. They even let us (bride & groom) get on stage and sing the last song of the night with the band! Would definitely recommend them for anyone trying to decide to book for their event. Our guests have not stopped talking about them!!! We were just on vacation with all of my cousins and they could not stop raving about how they are the best band they have ever seen at a wedding.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about this band, they exceeded our expectations. We did extensive research to find a wedding band and were rather discouraged with how expensive they can be...groove place however was very reasonable and fabulous! If you want a wedding where the dance floor is never empty this is the band you want! They were professional and loads of fun! We still get comments how they were the best wedding band that our guests had ever heard! They really helped make our wedding a blast! Thank you again Groove Place, I will forever recommend you!
