Heart Ceremonies: Rev. Stephanie Anne Thompson

Stephanie was the perfect officiant for our non-religious ceremony. She was completely open to doing what my husband and I wanted to do and truly let us customize our ceremony. She worked with us perfectly, was open to meeting with us when needed, and we had so many compliments on our wonderful ceremony. She is extremely professional, but also kind and down-to-earth. We couldn't have been happier with her and I would highly recommend her to other bride-to-be's :)

Stephanie was absolutely amazing. My husband and I are atheists and were so happy to find somebody to work with us on our "unique" ceremony. Stephanie didn't seem to bat an eyelash when I told her I wanted a reading about zombies! She was always available whenever I needed to chat, with e-mail being the main pathway (how I like it). She made us both feel so comfortable, it was very stress free for us. I have received so many compliments on our ceremony and how it made people cry! We couldn't have done it without her!

If you want an officiant who is flexible, fun, personable, and caring, there is no other choice but Stephanie. After meeting her for the first time, my husband and I knew we made the right choice. She was fantastic every step of the way!

Stephanie was absoultely wonderful for our special day! She had many suggestions to guide us through ceremony options and was open to new ideas. She made it a point of meeting with us beforehand and getting to know us. During the ceremony she was professional but warm and very responsive and extremely attentive to our needs. Rev. Stephanie married my husband and I on 11/4/11 at the Stroudsmoor Country Inn in Stroudsburg, PA. We found her through the venue. With the bride being Jewish, the groom Catholic, and neither of us wanting religion as part of our ceremony, we were looking for someone who could make the ceremony about US, with aspects of tradition and spirituality. We knew Rev. Stephanie was the right officiant for us less than 5 minutes into our first conversation. She just seemed to "get" us, and it was clear she would do anything she could to make our ceremony special and perfect. During the planning process, Rev. Stephanie was very responsive, interested in getting to know us, and provided us with a lot of different ideas for our ceremony. We ended up with exactly what we wanted! On the wedding day, Rev. Stephanie was prompt, helped ensure that everything went smoothly, and spoke loudly enough (without a mike!) for all of our guests to hear during the outdoor ceremony. Many of our guests commented on how much the ceremony reflected who WE are. Which is exactly what we hoped for. We would recommend Rev. Stephanie as an officiant for any couple, regardless of what they want incorporated into their ceremony. She will make it about YOU!

Rev. Stephanie Thompson is the best there is. A month before our wedding, our officiant (a local judge) was no longer able to perform our wedding. I contacted a few officiants, but Rev. Thompson responded right away. From our first email I knew she was perfect for my husband and I. And our first face to face meeting my husband was sold. We talked for two hours about life in general and then quickly had to go over the ceremony b/c Starbucks had closed. We worked together on creating the perfect ceremony for us. And she delivered. On the day of, she phone in the morning to see how I was doing. Rev. Thompson was on time...actually early. Our ceremony was the most lighthearted and fun ceremony most of our guests had ever been too. Rev. Thompson's interaction with us and with our guests is something we will always treasure and remember. Highly recommend!!!

Rev Stephanie was brought to us in an emergency. Our plan A was stuck in a 16 car pile up. Rev Stephanie was so nice to jump in at the last minute. Our ceremony was everything we wanted and more. I will remember this day for the rest of my life because of Rev Stephanie. She is a wonderful person!

Rev. Thompson took the time to sit and get to know us on two separate occasions before our wedding day. She listened to our needs and preferences and offered suggestions from her years of experience. Stephanie is enthusiastic, honest and open-minded in her preparation process and has a great sense of humor. She made our wedding party, our guests, and us feel comfortable and happy during our specially tailored ceremony. Our day was joyous and beautiful thanks in part to Stephanie!

I cannot even begin to describe how wonderful Rev. Stephanie was for us. When my husband and I first started planning our wedding we met with her and immediately loved her personality and her style. We then had an a very close friend of my husband's family offer to officiate our wedding and we decided to go with someone we had personal ties to. This friend had a family emergency come up about a month or so before our wedding and was no longer going to be able to make it. We were panicked, then found out Rev. Stephanie was still free on our date. She gladly offered to step in and sent us all the information she had again. We didn't even need to ask her any questions, everything she provided for us was so thorough. We lived a distance from where our wedding was to be held and with such short notice could never meet with her before the wedding. We tweaked the wording of some of the styles and wording examples she gave us and sent her what we wanted. She assured that what we sent her was all the information she needed and planned the entire ceremony off of an email I sent. I was still a little nervous about how it would go, but it was flawless. She said and did everything exactly as we had wanted. She has a wonderful personality and a sincerity that came out each time she spoke. Some guests who knew originally we were using a family friend thought that she was the family friend because she spoke so sincerely. You would never be able to tell that it was all planned on such short notice. All of our guests raved to us about it, beyond just "that was a lovely ceremony" generic compliments, everyone gushed about how they've never seen a wedding so personal and specific to who the couple was before. My only regret is that we didn't stick with her from the start.

Stephanie married my husband and I on July 2nd, 2011. She went above and beyond her duties that day. Beside making my very nervous husband feel comfortable, she was very supportive to me with everything! The hotel lost my flowers, Stephanie went and pulled from my centerpieces ... I was in stitches because my dad was running late, Stephanie made me feel relaxed! I will forever value her for all that she did that day to ensure my wedding ran as smooth as possible. Stephanie has touched a place in my heart and not only will I always remember her but I will be the first to suggest her to others who are looking for someone to marry them ...Stephanie is it!!!!

Stephanie was absolutely wonderful. We wouldn't have changed a thing! She was very flexible in meeting with us to get to know each other and plan our ceremony. We live in the midwest but got married in PA and she worked with us around our travel schedule. She offered us a ton of resources to plan our ceremony and made it so easy. We wanted our ceremony to be mostly non-religious, but since some of our family members are very Christian, she offered suggestions on how to appease them by incorporating a prayer. She was also very helpful at our rehearsal to make sure every detail was thought out. Stephanie has a big heart and seemed to really care about us and our wedding day. She's really fun to be around and has a great sense of humor! We'd recommend her to everyone.

She is so incredibly nice and easy to get along with, love her. She helped me and my husband create a ceremony that was perfect for us that would make our day even more memorable and special! Thank you Rev Stephanie.

Stephanie was absolutely phenomenal. After the ceremony many of our guests asked if she was a friend of ours because of the the personal attention she gave to us and our ceremony. Her prices were about half of what we saw from other officiants and she was very flexible. We had a traditional Celtic ceremony with a modern twist and Stephanie was instrumental in helping us plan and put our ceremony together. She helped make our ceremony very personalized and made all our guests feel very welcome actually a part of our ceremony. Because of Stephanie's warm, caring personality our ceremony is one that all who attended will remember for a very long time. This is just not the case with any of the other weddings either my wife or I have ever attended. Our first planning meeting lasted 2 hours just because Stephanie is so easy to talk to and we talked about all aspects of life, not just our wedding. At one point in our ceremony, a baby cried and the baby's mother started backing away in embarrassment. Stephanie immediately told her," Don't you back that baby away". That mother later told us how Stephanie had made her feel so much better in a potentially embarrassing situation. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful person and officiant Stephanie is and would highly recommend her to anyone who is planning a wedding.

I highly recommend Rev. Stephanie Thompson. I come from a Catholic background and my fiance is not religious so I struggled to find an officiant that could incorporate my religious background at our outdoor non traditional wedding and she was wonderful. She meets you before hand and it feels like she's know you your whole life when she marries you. She also has loads of information to help plan the ceremony and is able to perform the ceremony anyway you want. She is professional yet a lot of fun. Rev. Stephanie made my day perfect.

Stephanie took so much time to make sure our ceremony truly reflected us, and all the unique things we wanted to include. Her step by step ceremony planning guide was incredibly helpful, and when she met with us in person there was never a feeling of being rushed. She arrived before the ceremony to talk with each one of us individually and it felt more like talking with a friend than someone "working" at our wedding. I couldn't recommend her more!

We are so incredibly happy that we chose Stephanie as our officiant for our wedding ceremony! She was absolutely fantastic! When we met with her, she was very friendly and genuinely wanted to make our wedding whatever we wanted. It was so nice to have someone who just wanted to do whatever you want, espcially with all of the family input that you get on everything. Our ceremony was exactly how we wanted it (with flower dogs and all) and we couldn't have asked for anything more. We designed the entire ceremony using examples of ceremonies that she provided, which were immensely helpful. She also helped us navigate through the process of applying for a marriage license and explained everything to us. It was wonderful to have someone who knows the process and each step of the ceremony to guide you through making all of your choices and making sure you file all the necessary paperwork to have your marriage be legal. I really cannot praise her enough for the fantastic job she did for us and I highly recommend her.

Rev. Stephanie Anne Thompson did a wonderful job with our ceremony! She helped us plan a nice ceremony that involved our daughter. She was extremely helpful with the rehearsal as well - she made it clear for everyone on what to do, which resulted in a flawless ceremony. Overalll we would definitely recommend her!

Stephanie was such a pleasure to work with. We wanted a non-denominational, non spiritual wedding ceremony and Stephanie worked with us to develop a ceremony that was intimate and matched what we were looking for. Throughout the process she was very professional, responsive and easy to work with. We received many wonderful compliments about the ceremony afterwards.
