Hyatt Regency Philadelphia at Penn's Landing

From doormen, to bellmen, to front desk, the staff was wonderful. My in-house co-ordinator was a dream to work with. Traci took all my calls and dealt with all my requests right away. Michael, who was in charge of our event on Saturday night, was terrific! We had two different ceremonies and Michael was on top of all our needs.

The phone system associated with the Hyatt was a complete maze, and once I was put in contact with the right person, I will still juggled around on their team. We decided to still move forward with the hotel for our guests' rooms because of its location to our reception hall and transportation for guests, but we were not thrilled with the level of service. We hope our guests don't experience the same!

I loved having my wedding here! I really wanted a ballroom with windows and a high ceiling and this had both! Plus, it was right on the water. The food was excellent and the Hyatt really catered to all of our needs. They were extremely flexible throughout the entire process, including the day before the event. Staff was very professional and our Maitre'D went above and beyond on the evening of the wedding. We felt like royalty. Our bridal suite was gorgeous and had an amazing view!! The only problems we had were with booking rooms. The person in charge is not very responsive and often takes several days to return calls or emails. Regardless, I would highly recommend the Hyatt for a wedding or any type of event!

The hotel staff was extremely accommodating the day of the event. They really went above and beyond with every small request. All of our guests loved the ballroom, the guest rooms, and the bar on the first floor (Keating's) for pre-wedding and post-wedding drinks throughout the weekend. Of course it really depends whom you're dealing with as your main contact once you book the hotel - we had one banquet coordinator who was just so-so in the beginning (he ended up leaving the hotel) and the next coordinator was extremely helpful.

Nice hotel and pretty. But they lost our reservation when we go there. (And I am the bride!) They fixed it, but it was a lot like that. The food was ok. It cost the same amount as the other hotels, so you get water front!

We had a 150 person wedding at the Hyatt in March 2010 and everything was great. We worked with Gian Carlo, who was extremely responsive, flexible, and helpful throughout the process. We got a great deal on everything and the Hyatt staff did a beautiful job. The food is also delicious - you can't try anything before you sign the contract, but then you get to do a tasting and design the menu exactly how you want it. Definitely recommended!

This Hotel is a very beautiful place to have a wedding. My wedding was May 23, 2009 and the day was sunny, beautiful, and the flowers were in full bloom. The hotel sits right on the water at Penns landing and provides excellent areas to take pictures on the wedding day. The hotel itself is very modern and up to date; your guest will really be impressed. Danielle was our catering manager/coordinator and she did an excellent job. If there were any questions we had or anything we needed, she always came through, 100%. She completely took care of us. During our rehersal, the Hyatt provided staff to assist our planner in organizing all the details of our wedding. There was always a Hotel manager figure within arms reach if we or our planner needed anything during the entire process. I give the Hyatt an A+ for the cooperation they gave us during the planning and execution of our wedding. The food and waiting staff were all excellent. Your wedding will definitley be high class here. The only neutral opinion I will offer is that if you are thinking of doing your wedding here, you may want to hire an independant vendor for the wedding cake.

WOW. I cannot say enough great things about this venue and its people. Danielle was our planning coordinator and Rich coordinated events at the rehearsal and on the wedding day. Both of them were so genuinely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. EVERYTHING - from the planning to the beautiful and personalized tasting to the food to the decor to the service - was impeccable. Danielle and Rich are absolutely amazing, and the rest of the staff is truly incredible, too. Everyone was there to please us and our guests and nothing was too much trouble. The food was phenomenal. Even the hotel booking staff came through to help us find a room for my boss after the room block had expired and the hotel was booked solid. I was worried because I didn't get to taste anything before deciding on this venue; but there was nothing to worry about. So many people commented about the food. And it was all displayed so beautifully. Don't think twice about booking this venue. And get the ballroom that overlooks the Delaware River - it's beautiful.

This was our life that was going to be set forever until we parted and this is why im so glad that it was held here I couldnt of asked for a better place.

The Hyatt was excellent. They were so attentive to all of our guests. The staff was just fabulous. The food was extraordinary.

A beautiful place to have the ceremony and reception, however did have problems with billing. If you use the Hyatt keep all your records for at least 6 months after your wedding because you may get a miscellaneous bill for over a thousand dollars. If you have proof that you already paid the agreed amount they wont charge you

Everything was great except the cake decoration- looked like a child had decorated it, but it did taste great
