Helene was so warm and easy to work with and made the wedding planning process as painless as it could be. The food itself was wonderful and several guests said it's the best wedding food they have ever had. Instead of a cake, we opted to have a dessert bar with various treats including cupcakes, whoopie pies, macarons, mini cheesecakes, and mini pies. Helene was very accommodating with adding the dessert bar as was Felix (from Felix's Caketeria, Jimmy Duffy's wedding cake provider). I would strongly recommend Jimmy Duffy's to any couple considering them.

I was married three weeks ago at PAFA in the historic building. The venue was beautiful, the flowers were perfect, the DJ was great, but the catering was an absolute disaster.I worked with Helene at Jimmy Duffy who was consistently unresponsive. After I booked the wedding with her, she stopped responding to my emails, and after we set up a time to talk on the phone, she never picked up and didn't call me back for days.After finally getting back on track, everything seemed to be in order for the big day. After the ceremony, I realized that the hor d'oeuvres were wrong. There were items that we picked from the tasting that were not at all what was served. Then, I realized that the beers were wrong. We picked three beers, and only two were actually ordered for the event. We only served a chicken entree and a vegetarian entree, and the chicken entree was completely wrong. I was beyond shocked when I was served the dish. The main dish was not what we ordered, and even the side dish of lentils were wrong.The staff that served us were all very kind and extremely helpful. Other than that, there's not much I can say that is positive about Jimmy Duffy Catering. Although I had a gorgeous wedding that was filled with happiness, if I could back in time, I would not have had my wedding at PAFA because of the extremely poor service of Jimmy Duffy.

If I could rate Duffy's higher than a 5.... I would. Everything was superb. We have used Duffy's many times for events and they could not be better caterers.

After being engaged for 18 months, my husband and I finally got married 3 weeks ago. Through the process I learned 2 very valuable lessons - 1) don't have such a long engagement, it causes you to over analyze and question everything and 2) wherever you choose to get married, make sure the person you're working with is patient, creative, considerate, professional, and above all else, someone you actually like dealing with. I found all of that with Matt Duffy from Jimmy Duffy's. My husband and I wanted something totally different and non traditional - when we walked into PAFA, we found that with the space, but we found the person that could make all of our ideas come to life with Matt. For 18 months, he put up with our crazy family - our millions of emails asking for changes to the menu, changes to the format, his opinion on the most minor of things (from the lighting to the color of the napkins) - and he responded to every single one with the most positive attitude you could ask for. Everything we asked for he made happen. On our wedding day, everything exceeded any and all expectations that we had. The food - which was stations that had everything from salmon to a taco stands to cheese steaks and french fries (all done completely classy), was all exceptional; PAFA looked beautiful; and Matt was by my side all night asking me what I needed and how he could help. I would recommend PAFA and Jimmy Duffy's to anyone. Matt went above and beyond for my family and our wedding was perfect. He was proactive, wonderful to deal with, extremely professional, and above everything else, a genuinely kind person.

Jimmy Duffy Catering was the only choice for our wedding at PaFA but if I had a choice, I don't think I would've gone with anyone else. Working with Matt Duffy was easy and he was very accommodating. The food was far superior to any other wedding that I've attended and I would highly recommend Matt Duffy catering for your next event.

One word...amazing. Jimmy Duffy really knows how to throw a party. Helene was extremely helpful throughout the entire planning process, quick to answer my questions and emails. She was so friendly the first time we met and always kept me in the loop with that was going on. The night of our reception was amazing. The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts is certainly lucky to have Duffy as their exclusive caterer. Their food certainly matches the venue—modern and absolutely delicious. The Duffy staff, including Helene and Cameron, were wonderful and my husband and I felt so well-taken care of that night. The bar service and appetizer set-up was beautiful. The dinner service was amazing. We got so many compliments about it being the best food our guests have ever had at a wedding, and we could not agree more (the chicken and sea bass were perfectly cooked and presented so uniquely). I highly recommend Duffy and PAFA to host your wedding because you will not be dissapointed. The whole night just went so smoothly.

I was very disappointed with Jimmy Duffy when my wedding finally arrived. At the beginning they were very attentive to what I wanted and listened to my concerns and answered my questions. I had to clarify what I wanted many times throughout the process though because they kept trying to change things to the way they wanted. When the day arrived, they were very professional but made many mistakes--such as not even cutting the grooms cake (which I paid for!!!) and not asking me. At the end, they couldn't even take the cake for me until I got back from my honeymoon, one of my bridesmaids had to take it-for THEIR mistake. THere were several things on the contract that they said would be made that weren't, and they changed the tables around the day of from what we had agreed on...after I had made the centerpieces myself. My bridal party had to change everything to make sure something was on every table. I was way overcharged and although the majority of the food/drink was delicious, I was still very disappointed in the service.

Jimmy Duffy's was wonderful. We worked with Bernadette, who was more than accommodating with our food allergies. The presentation was beautiful, and everyone seemed to love the food!

We had a great time planning our wedding at the PAFA. Chrissy was very easy to work with and was genuinely interested in helping us plan all of the details. I will never forget the feeling I had walking into the Annenberg Gallery for the first time. The food and whole room was beyond my expectations. Guests raved about the meal and the extra add ons for the happy hour and the gelato cart were worth it. I would recommend PAFA and Jimmy Duffy's to my friends and family.

Jimmy Duffy's catering was a monumental part of making our wedding the success that it was. I wasn't sure if I was simply biased when I was impressed with the food, but comments from our guests showed me I was not. More people than I can count approached my husband and I and told us it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding. Many said it was some of the best food ever! The cocktail hour butlered and tabled hors de ouvres blew everyone away. It was done with such quality, attention to detail, and a wide variety that had something for everyone. The dinner itself was fantastic. And the staff were extremely professional, courteous, and absolutely attentive.We worked with Pol Duffy and Rose. They were so attentive to every detail and worked with us on everything. They helped us bring our contract within budget, demonstrating great flexibility and patience with us. They put together a FANTASTIC, OUT OF THIS WORLD private tasting for the groom and myself... and then sent us home with leftovers! When we tasted the food, we knew we'd scored a home run. The guests were going to be blown away (and they were). They even helped us concoct a signature drink. At the reception, Pol himself was attending to us... making sure we had everything we need... and even preventing me from spilling my dinner down the front of my dress.It's also worth mentioning that Duffy's has all of their own equipment. We had an outdoor tented reception. This option gets very expensive when you have to rent absolutely everything. Duffy's provided their own ovens, set up their kitchen in the garage, provided tables, chairs, linens, china, silverware, glassware, and bars. And all of it was very high quality and very tasteful. Contrast that with a caterer who brings nothing, and you must rent ovens for them, a cook tent, tables, etc, etc....I can't say enough good things about Pol Duffy and Rose at Jimmy Duffy's. Top notch service, quality, and fantastic food.

Our wedding was at Cairnwood and Jimmy Duffy's is on their preferred Caterer's list. We worked with Christiane Lehman for our wedding. She helped me over my 2 year engagement- she helped me with every little thing. She was probably the #1 reason our wedding was such a success…from the chairs we rented to setting up the décor on tables…and the food…oh god the food. She helped us fit our budget perfectly. She told us where we could cut corners and where we really shouldn’t. We got the most for our money- and the food blew us and our guests away. It was to die for. Everything was prepared wonderfully and it tasted AMAZING!!! People are still talking about it. And Christiane was there the day of the wedding to help us during it. Jimmy Duffy’s was amazing and professional and I would recommend them to everyone!

THis review is specifically for Kim Honig at Jimmy Duffy Catering. We selected Jimmy Duffy after interviewing several select caterers for the Cairnwood mansion. Kim was not only to most friendly and accomodating individual to work with, but she COMPLETELY cared about making our day the vision of our dreams. She executed the day like a professional wedding planner and orchestrated our priorities as requested.Kim and Jimmy Duffy's was SO VERY accomodating with customizing our menu to deliver the best value at an AMAZING price (in comparison to similarly renowned caterersm, in terms of food quality/quanity, etc.) The food was exquisite; we still receive compliments on how amazing our food was nearly one year later.....I honestly cannot say enough great things about both Kim and Jimmy Diffy's. I encourage everyone to set up a meeting with Kim to give her a shot - she proved to us just how unbeliveablely capable she is at delivering an amazing wedding experience!Kim --> Nicole and I can't thank you enough!!! :-)

Food was delicious and well presented. Staff were attentive, friendly and professional. During the planning process Christianne was helpful and responsive. She worked with us on a few items we wanted that they didn’t have (passed vegetarian sushi during cocktail hour, which they didn’t make but found an outside vendor to provide it at a very reasonable price). Plus, they really ran the show for us. We had originally thought we might need a day of coordinator but Duffy’s did everything! Not just setting things out for us the way we wanted them but also running the rehearsal and coordinating the ceremony. Christianne was on vacation for our wedding but her colleague, Helene, jumped in and took care of everything seamlessly.

The planning for our reception seemed effortless. Our contact, Christianne, was completely wonderful. She helped plan the event and took all our suggestions with friendliness and professionalism. She responded to changes, unfortunately on the late side, with ease. Everything turned out beautifully. When meals were served, the servers were friendly and helpful. All the meals, our chicken dish, vegetarian selection, kids meals, and our celiac meal were all delicious and served graciously. We had many, many unsolicited, positive comments from our guests about the quality of the meals and the service. The food was great! Oh, and everyone loved the wedding cake, too!

Working with Jimmy Duffy's (and Chrissy) was a wonderful, easy experience. They've been in the business a long time (in fact they catered my mother's rehearsal dinner!) and yet nothing about them is stale or old-fashioned. They have a great menu to choose from--with lots of variety--and they're equally willing to create an entire menu for you from scratch. In fact, at the end of the day, we made so many changes to our menu that it was practically customized. Chrissy and the chefs fulfilled every one of our requests, from some organic items, to cheese from specific cheesemakers in Vermont, numerous renditions of the meal presentation and a handmade dessert, and always did so pleasently. And when the final invoice came, we felt it was a great value and Jimmy Duffy's was very generous in what they provided us. Overall, we recommend Jimmy Duffy's at PAFA hands down. Jimmy Duffy's is professional, they pay attention to detail and they execute the actual event smoothly and elegantly. Perhaps one thing we never thought of in advance of our wedding day was the event staff and they blew us away with their attentiveness, kindness and professionalism.

Jimmy Duffy's did an amazing job with our Halloween wedding at The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Christiane Lehman, the catering Manager, was an absolute pleasure to work with. She worked with me diligently to get our menu just perfect and acted as the liaison to the baker to coordinate our custom wedding cake and seasonal dessert treats. The night of the event was absolutely perfect. Everyone raved about the food from the hors d'oeuvres to the entrees with the staff even offering seconds to our guests. The service was exceptional; my glass was never empty the entire night. I would 100% recommend Jimmy Duffy's at PAFA. We had a wedding we will never forget.

If you are looking to have a dream wedding, then PAFA is your place and Jimmy Duffy's is your catering company! Everything was fabulous and everyone who came to my wedding said it was the best one they have ever been to. I highly recommend!

Jimmy Duffy's was extremely flexible and accomidating of my tastes -- I wanted a particular type of dish that they didn't have on the menu and they made it for me beautifully! They're food was delicious, and Chrissy helped me through the process and responded to my questions and comments with speed and enthusiasm. During the reception itself, she coordinated with the DJ to make sure that timing was organized and that my family and I didn't have to think too much about logistics while enjoying the celebration.

The service was fantastic, the Jimmy Duffy staff was very nice and really took care of us. Our guests are still telling us that its the best food they've ever had and raving about what a great time they had. We were also told the cake was the best wedding cake that guests ever had. Through the planning process, Chrissy was fantastic to work with - she was very responsive and had all the answers. I don't know if I could've gotten through the day of without her - she had everything completely under control and the wedding went seamlessly. The rooms looked more beautiful that I could've imagined and everything seemed to come together perfectly - we couldn't ask for anything more.

Duffy's far exceeded my expectations, and I had expected great things! They were so easy to work with, and acted as a personal wedding planner as they suggested and perfected details to bring my wedding day vision to life. As I planned my wedding, they helped to keep me organized and inspired. On the wedding day, they acted as personal attendants, making sure everything ran smoothly and that my bridal party was pampered with attention (and champagne!).In addition, the food was incredible! We knew it would be delicious once we had our tasting, but to hear rave reviews from our guests just solidified our decision to go with Duffy's, and made our wedding a day that has truly been one of the best days of our lives.
