Moore Music

Pam Moore, the owner, was our DJ yesterday, and she was fantastic. She is personable, professional, and energetic. She went out of her way to accommodate our needs. She gave us her cell phone number and told us that we could contact her at absolutely any time if we had questions or needed anything. She helped everyone through the rehearsal and made sure that everyone knew what was going on at all times. She took requests, and she and her assistant played a great selection of music that had people out on the dance floor for most of our early afternoon reception. She went above and beyond, and I would recommend her to anyone who asked.

We went to a wedding where Moore Music was Djing and LOVED them so much we didn't even hesitate to have them at our wedding. The guys that took care of our tens, lighting, and tables assured us that the dance floor we ordered for our outdoor wedding would be big enough.... needless to say, it wasn't... Moore music had all 200 people attending our wedding dancing the whole night! I thnk if your one issue at the wedding is the dance floor is too small and people have to dance around the tent you have nothing to worry about other then guest being sore from dancing the next day :) Thanks Moore Music!

Pam Moore is amazing! I highly recommend Moore Music for your wedding and intend on contacting Pam to dj at any upcoming special events. During the reception, Pam was very attentive and concerned with ensuring that my husband and I were happy. She also engaged with family and friends, accepted request and was very entertaining. Thanks to Pam, everyone enjoyed the reception!

We worked with Pam Moore as our DJ and we have both positive and negative things to say about her. First, she is very responsible and detail-oriented. She does offer coordinating services, but not to the extent that we wanted, so we didn't hire her for that purpose. She continued to bring this up time and time again in a very unprofessional way, and on the wedding day she tried to do some of the coordinating things that we didn't hire her to do (arrange and time the procession, check on us all the time, coordinate our luggage at the end of the night, etc.). She was borderline pushy about it, and it felt like she was trying to compete with our hired coordinator. Secondly, she was pretty good about taking our "please play" and "please do not play" suggestions. I heard most of the music I wanted to hear. But she took a very hesitant "okay" from us to play 80's music, and we had 80's music for almost an hour at the end of our reception. I made it pretty clear in our meeting that I hate most 80's music and didn't want to hear it at my wedding. She also was overheard being rude to some of our guests when she went around to take requests. Yes, we did give her a "do not play" list, but there is an appropriate way to handle guests who ask for music on that list, and it didn't seem like she knew how to do that. My husband can cite two occasions during our reception where she was rude to him, so he didn't like her at all. My husband's family comes from a conservative background with no dancing, and Pam was offended and flabbergasted that they weren't dancing (which we told her not to expect over and over again in the planning process). I thought she did a pretty good job, but I wonder if we could have gone with someone who is a little less "out there". She actually, without running it by us in ANY of our planning meetings or discussions, chose to open up karaoke, sing, and carry around a microphone for our guests to sing. I would NEVER have okayed that had she run it by me, and I hate that it happened. Pam can be very difficult to deal with if she doesn't get things her way, which isn't really what you want to deal with for your wedding. Just wanted to send out a fair warning! If you like someone who is very outgoing, very blunt (and sometimes argumentative), and will take over the show, you could go with her.

I think Moore Music was awesome & extremely professional about every part of there service. It made my son's wedding a fabulous & fun day for all! It was well worth the money!

Moore Music did a wonderful job at our wedding. We planned an outdoor ceremony and reception in our backyard. Moore Music had an extra feature in which their DJ assisted in coordinating the ceremony (queuing our pianist and timing the wedding party entrances) as well as the normal reception routine. They also coordinated with the caterer on when to start serving the food. Pam took the time to type up a iternary which she shared with our caterer. This was very helpful, since she had a lot of experience with weddings and pointed out things we never thought about (for example, what do we want to drink during dinner, and had the DJ set is on our table for us). As for pricing, she had multiple discounts that made it affordable, and she also had a packet of perks. I would highly recommend Moore Music for any event!

Pam Moore music was the worst vendor at my wedding and was very unhappy with her. She played a lot of the wrong music. She yelled at some of my guest. Got in fights with some of the other vendors. Was very mean to my mom! Very unhappy with her and would not suggest her for anyones wedding, unless you want to have an aweful time!

Moore Music was great to deal with! Pam was always willing to answer any questions, and available 24/7! Our DJ, JT, was FANTASTIC! I highly recommend Moore Music!

Pam and her staff were welcoming, accommodating, and so attentive to every little detail that it made an overwhelming process incredibly easy. They are thoroughly organized, in touch with our other vendors and the series of events for the big day (so we didn't have to be!) and more than willing to go above and beyond to make sure we had everything we could have dreamed of. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Not as advertised. Asked for Motown, doowop, rock. Got Wang Chung. Connie did not seek out requests. After spending 5 hours meeting with Pam I expected a better understanding of the music I wanted. Connie spent most of the time on her phone and did not read the crowd or even transition songs. They were mediocre at best.

Pam did a wonderful job and took care of everything! We even hired her to attend our rehearsal and are so glad we did. We wouldn't have been able to figure it out without her help!

MOORE MUSIC ROCKED MY WEDDING!! If you are looking for a great DJ than you've just found one. I was married recently and Pam with Moore Music was our DJ (along with Assistant DJ Chase) .Pam and Chase did our Ceremony,reception,dinner and dance music. I have nothing but great things to say about how she does her job! The quality of service was out of this world! Pam went over every detail of our ceremony. We specifically went over what songs would be played at what time ( what songs the wedding party would walk into, what songs the bride and groom would walk in to, etc). We also went over each and every song that the wedding party would arrive at the reception to. We went over my wife and I's favorite songs/bands and she also what artists/songs/bands we didnt want to hear. She has a keen sense on reading a crowd, which was very evident during the dancing portion of our wedding. I have lost count of the number of people who told me that my wedding was one of the best ones they've ever been to and that Pam was an Excellent DJ! Pam was very responsive as well. If I had ANY question whatsoever she was always there to answer it. she called at least once a week (usually more depending on our needs) in the last month leading up to our wedding (we booked her 3 months ahead of time). Pam was always professional when it came to my wife and I, as well as our guests. As far as value, its like her slogan says..."YOU GET MOORE FOR YOUR MONEY!!" Most other DJ companies will just sit behind a sound board and wait for people to come up and make requests. Moore Music goes above and beyond. Pam went around to each and every one of our guest and got there requests to ensure that everyone was hearing what they liked. She was very flexibile as well. I remember making some last minute song changes and she was very accomodating is making those changes. Also, at the wedding she would Regularly come to us and ask us if we were ready for the next step (father/daughter dance, cake cutting, first dance, etc.). In closing, If you are truly looking to get "MOORE FOR YOUR MONEY" You best bet is to use Moore Music!

We were very happy w/ Pam's work. She is such an amazinly nice woman and you can tell she really cares about her clients. She really took care of us - more like a wedding planner!! She coordinated w/ my other vednors to ensure everything was perfect. We also liked how we planned all the music and what we liked and didn't like. Pam is VERY knowledgeable. The only reason I didn't give a 5 in all categories is b/c at times we felt overwhelmed to stay on task of getting cake cutting, dances, etc done, when really we kinda just wanted to relax. But its not always a bad thing b/c you know Pam got the job done and that's what is most important!

The DJs were accomodating and did what we asked. They also did a nice job of engaging the audience with the right music to keep the party hopping. They made two mistakes or I would have rated then 5/5. One, the wrong song was played for garter off, and 2) they couldn't be heard or understood well when making announcements. I do not know why, but for example the centerpiece giveaway bit was largely ignored by the guests because no one could hear the DJ talking. However, I'm focusing on the negative. They were terrific overall, worked with what we wanted and we were very happy with them both. I would hire back in a heartbeat.

Pam Moore is so much more than a DJ! My daughter said she made the day so much easier for with your cues on timing and what was happening next, so that she did not have to worry about keeping track of that. The music was great – she had everybody up and dancing! I also know both the bride and groom appreciated the time spent with them prior to the wedding, picking the type of music they wanted and specific songs for each event of the day. The CD of the wedding songs and the “Itinerary and script” for the day that she gave us at the end of the reception were also much appreciated. I will definitely spread the word about how wonderful you are!

Moore Music made our event really special. Pam really engaged with the kids and got them up and moving. Lots of games and fun things to keep them hopping.

If you are looking for a DJ service for your reception or any other event, Moore Music provides an amazing experience at a great price! Pam and her team are the nicest people ever and go above and beyond all expectation! Pam was the DJ for our wedding and I have to say it was one of the best times I've ever had! My guests were talking about "DJ Pam" long after the wedding was over! They are not only Dj's but reception coordinators that make sure the entire reception runs as planned. I experienced a terrible time with my caterer and Pam was there for me through it all and helped me in every way she could! If I had another event I wouldn't go with any other DJ service! We even went to a friends wedding and they used Moore Music after seeing the fabulous service that was provided at my wedding. It was also a great time! And to add to that one of my best friends, who was one of my bridesmaids, is having Pam DJ their wedding too.
