For any future brides to be... please don't go to this store. I realize that there are a few customers who felt that they had exceptional experiences there, but if you look at any of the NEGATIVE reviews of this place you'll see that the comments are ALL very consistent.
Most will comment about that awful younger woman who is cold and seems downright irritated to have to help a customer. The older woman, perhaps the owner, couldn't care less that I was in her tiny boutique.
This was a 2nd marriage for me... I actually wasn't even planning to get a dress at first.. but my friends convinced me that its still a wonderful occasion and I should get fancied up for it! We went to Philadelphia Bridal Comapny Loft basically because we happended to be passing by on the street on our way to the next boutique. Amazingly, I found a beautiful dress that I loved, right off the rack! It actually made me feel so excited about getting dressed up again. BUT... right from the start, the young grouchy woman was very cold and unfriendly, and when I went for my fitting to measure the alterations, the experience was so awful, that it actually brought me to tears and all I wanted to do was just get out of there. I had already paid for the dress 2 weeks prior so it was too late to change my mind. Even though they saw how upset I was because of them, they never once changed their attitude or approach to helping me with my dress. They didn't even acknowledge it, and just let me stand there in the dress, in tears, while they finished measuring out the alteration. My friend was so shocked at how horrible they were that she was just standing there in disbelief and frustration with them as well.
TO MAKE EVERYTHING EVEN WORSE.... I just picked up the dress 2 days ago (my very small intimate wedding is in 1 week), and I tried on the dress last night for the first time since picking it up from the store... only to find a large stain (looked almost like a coffee or dirt stain that was cleaned over) right over the very font bust area of the gown.
I am planning to go back to day to see they have anything to say about this... but I almost don't want to. Each time I think about having to go back there, I just feel like crying. They have truly cast an awful feel to my upcoming wedding...
Its a second marriage for me, and super small wedding, so I'm not really even that stressed out about the wedding itself, but for anyone else, I know how important the dress is (my first time was everything most girls dream of) and how you DON'T need any added stress to your life 1 WEEK before the wedding.
There are many other wonderful wedding gown boutiques in town, which much better service (people who actually enjoy what they do and care about making this the happiest time of your life), and much better selection. I would try Bridals by Danielle. I've been to both in the past for other occasions, and the experience what much more what you would expect when you are planning for what should be one of the most happiest days of your life.
I don't usually write reviews but I felt so strongly that I wanted to spare anyone else from this kind of an experience. 1 star rating- only because you have to put at least one to publish the review. PLEASE DON'T GO TO THIS STORE.

Applause to Debra of the Philadelphia Bridal Company Bridal Loft she was my life saver for my big day! Planning a wedding can be rather stressful especially when you are doing everything yourself and keeping in a budget that included wedding attire can be a big task, but that problem simply floated away as soon as Debra contacted me. I originally contacted her for a wedding planner, but thought I would save a bit in this economy by cutting out a planner. Her rates were rather fair for what I needed but I cater myself and decided to plan the entire event myself (for future reference DONÂ’T DO IT I should have spent the money Debra's rates were reasonable) However, she ended up being of great service when I asked her about wedding gowns. I told her what I was looking for and my budget and she said she did have some gowns for me to look at. She had several dresses for me ready to try on when I arrived. I tried on three dresses and I did choose a beautiful dress but something was just missing, that's when Debra bought out the most beautiful dress ever and told me that she knew the dress was for me, AND IT WAS! As soon as I saw the dress I almost cried. I tried it on and it fit PERFECT no alterations needed which for me it amazing being almost 6 feet tall. My husband said when he saw me in the dress he thought I was the most beautiful woman in the world and he was the luckiest man to have me. Thanks again to Ms. Butler for her work on making me feel like a queen on our day.
