Hi Ed and Staff,Chris and I along with my parents wanted to thank you for doing such an amazing job the day of our wedding and throughout the whole process. We were very impressed by your organization and top notch customer service. You were always accessible and quick to respond to any questions. It was also great that you would give suggestions to make things better. All of the tables looked beautiful and the food was delicious. The fact that the pintuck linens were part of the package was awesome and truly pulled the room together. My other vendors really enjoyed working with you which made everything easier. Thank you for making sure everything ran smoothly and helping us to have such a memorable night. You were so great to work with! We look forward to working with you again sometime in the future. Ed and the rest of his crew at Sage were SO incredible to work with during the year's worth of planning and celebration on our actual wedding day!!! In order to allow our guests to "flow" during our reception, we opted for a stations-style meal and everything was professionally presented, delicious, and absolutely perfect!!! Every question, request, and concern along the way was answered promptly and addressed without hesitation! Several guests commented afterwards on how wonderful the food was!! During the reception, Ed was such a huge help! He was so attentive to us, guided us to where we needed to be and when, and made every step seamless. My husband and I could really enjoy our most special of days with the blissful peace of mind that everything was going to be easily taken care of and it was! Thanks for everything!!

Greg, Ed, and the rest of the team at Sage did a wonderful job on my wedding reception. I worked with Ed for months to set up my menu and other details and he was consistently courteous and professional. My husband has some dietary restrictions and Sage went out of their way to accommodate him. In the final weeks before the wedding I was so glad I had chosen to work with Sage because while other aspects of planning became stressful, I was confident that the catering was one thing I did not have to worry about. I would recommend Sage without hesitation. A+

They say you will not eat at your own wedding. This couldn't have been further from the truth for us! Food was a top priority for us as we planned our wedding, and Sage far exceeded our expectations. We had a smallish wedding with 70 guests, and many caterers didn't bother to respond to our inquiries, but Sage treated us as if we were their most important client. We loved working with Liz. The food itself was incredible. Sage helped us develop a fun cocktail hour menu based on our theme, and the sit down dinner was elegant and delicious. We received so many compliments from our guests. During cocktail hour, we had a server dedicated to making sure the bridal party received food and drink, not to mention Liz checking in frequently to make sure we were all set. Liz went above and beyond to make sure everything went off without a hitch, during the planning stages and on the day itself. She always responded promptly to my questions and concerns, which I appreciated! All the servers and bartenders were all friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

Sage Catering is Amazing! There food is Delicious and presented perfectly. We had endless compliments on the food from our guests.They are extremely detailed oriented and will make any Bride feel at ease. No matter how many times I contacted them with another added detail, they were happy to do it and did it beyond my expectations. There staff members are extremely friendly and were always willing to go the extra mile. Sage catering is the way to go!

I can not say enough great things about the whole evening of my husbands surprise birthday party!! Right from the beginning...working with Ed it was great experience and I knew we were in good hands. He helped with my photographer. Chris was just perfect!! The food was great and the timing was perfect throughout the night.The bottom-line is my husband and I and our guests had a great time and enjoyed themselves tremendously. In fact we are still getting calls!!!I would highly recommend Sage Catering!!!

My husband and I recently celebrated our one year wedding anniversary with a vow renewal and Sage Catering were the ones we chose to cater the event. Ed was wonderful. Patient with our many changes and email, he was always willing to discuss whatever issues were on the table. He and his staff went out of their way to enhance the natural beauty of the site we chose, not to overshadow it. After our ceremony, he was there with drinks in hand and made sure we had something to eat during the reception (which was very appreciated). He was also very good about keeping our reception 'on task' so we didnt have to worry about timing (e.g. cake cutting, etc). As we did not have a wedding/event coordinator, he fell into some of that task with ease and grace so that everything went very smoothly. I could not have asked for a better caterer. Last but certainly not least, the food was wonderful. We chose to have a brunch reception with crepes and breakfast-type foods. We received many compliments from our guests and I saw people going back for seconds and thirds.I highly recommend Sage for any event. The cost is reasonable, the service impeccable and the feeling of being in capable hands immeasurable. You wont be disappointed.

Sage Catering was PERFECT! A+++++++++We worked with Ed through the entire process and he was there throughout the entire wedding to ensure everything ran smoothly- which it did!!From the beginning of the planning process Ed was responsive and helpful. Not only did Sage provide all the food for the wedding, Ed also handled furniture and linen rentals. We decided on a fun cocktail style reception which Ed understood what we wanted from minute one.The tasting proved the food to be more than delicious and from that moment on we did not have one worry about our menu!Throughout the event, the staff was friendly and responsive. All of the guests raved about the food and service!!!I would not hesitate to recommend Ed or Sage for any event. They were all AMAZING!!!

I canĀ“t say enough good things about Sage catering. The food was excellent, the service was excellent, the ambiance was excellent. Darby was our wedding planner at Sage and she was the best part of the whole experience. She was there for us every step of the way. She calmed me down when our wedding day was supposed to be 97 degrees and was outside. And throughout the whole day of the wedding she was organizing everything behind the scenes in her pleasant, calm way. We had a million compliments on the food. I have only good things to say about them!!

We met Sage Catering at an open house at our wedding facility and the moment we tasted the food and spoke with Harley, one of the chefs, we pretty much knew this was going to be our caterer. They invited us to an open house they were hosting a couple weeks later and that sealed the deal - more incredible food and such nice people who really made you feel at ease about planning a wedding within 6 months! Our event manager was Ed and from the moment the planning began, he was extremely helpful, organized and such a pleasure to work with. Sage is more than a "caterer", they really help you plan most every aspect of the event. Ed assisted with florist, bakery, alcohol and linen recommendations, which saved us considerable time and effort in researching things ourselves (each recommended vendor was of equally high quality). He was flexible, readily available and made some suggestions that really added nice touches to our wedding (where to place hurricane candles, water outside for our guests during the ceremony since it was a hot day, bathroom baskets, etc.).We selected flat iron tenderloin and chilean sea bass as the entrees - and those gratin potatoes, love them! Dinners were served efficiently; everything was the right temeperature. Regarding the hor devours - the barbecue shrimp, sushi, gorgonzola fig tarts, duck confit were some of our selections, so good! Everyone raved about the food. We've since heard repeatedly, "the hor devours were so good that I ate too much before dinner".It was an evolving process, but we eventually painted Ed a picture of how we envisioned our day. In the end, we couldn't have asked for anything more - incredible food, responsive service, seamless transitions (ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner then reception activities), and most importantly, the ability to have no worries - only fun, on our wedding day. We've actually heard from numerous guests that our wedding was the best they've ever been to. We couldn't agree more, it was a blast - the perfect day!

SIMPLY AMAZING!!!Sage Catering is everything they promise to be. Darby is incredible! We count our lucky stars she was our event planner. The entire staff was just wonderful...creative, provided guidance when we needed it, and made the whole process completely painless. Sage took care of EVERYTHING!!!The food was phenomenal. Unlike most brides that don't get a minute to eat on their wedding day, the waiters followed my husband and I around the entire evening ensuring that they brought us a sampling of the delicious food...and always offering us something to drink so we kept well and hydrated. This was hugely appreciated, specially by my husband...he couldn't fathom the idea of paying for all this food and never getting to taste it...not an issue for us; we tasted it all. The tenderloin was buttery soft, the salmon was perfectly moist...the risotto was incredible and the potatoes gratin were cheese and incredible. Oh, and the kids meal...everyone is still talking about their mac and cheese and homemade chicken tenders!!!The bartenders were super attentive. Always providing us with water and sodas. Looking for us to see if we needed anything and by the third time they saw me, they knew exactly what I was going to order...great memory! They were super cautious with our things. We had expensive champagne flutes, cake toppers and decorations for the entire venue...all returned perfectly intact, clean and in an organized manner. They also did an incredible job helping us with set-up...there every step of the way...including the day before the wedding. Since we were not local to our venue location, Darby went well out of her way to meet us at multiple locations to ensure we got a chance to see all of our wedding selections...tablecloths, napkins, chairs, tables, china, stemware, flatware....everything. All the details perfectly written down and spelled out to ensure that our vision came true. And boy did it ever...we were thrilled! I strongly recommend that you contact them for your event. You will fall absolutely in love with them from the food tastings. I know I did!!!

I can not recommend Sage enough! We knew from the first tasting that the food would be amazing but we were blown away by everything on the day of our wedding! The food was phenomenal and everything went off without a hitch. Ed was such a pleasure to work with and answered every single one of my questions and made me feel completely at ease during the entire planning process. People can not stop talking about how incredible the food was and the amazing presentation that Sage set up. They were so great to work with and we are so thankful to have been able to use them for our wedding!! We couldn't be happier!

Sage Catering did my wedding on October 30th, 2009. They were nothing short of perfection. Over the year I planned my wedding the staff at Sage become more like friends and family then hired vendors. They went above and beyond to make all my dreams come true for my wedding day even adding litle extras to ensure the comfort of my guests. For example, they made Hot Cider and offered it to my guests as they waited outside for the ceremony. The food was absolutely amazing and please all 100 people who came to the wedding. I wish there were more words to say that could impart how much I love the crew at Sage Catering, and how they made my wedding day special.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Sage staff and especially Darby. They did a beautiful job. From the beginning, we felt completely comfortable with them and this made all the difference. Worth every last penny.

HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND SAGE CATERING--they were absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. Greg and Liz (the married owners) were so easy to work with and went the extra mile to make our wedding the best it could possibly be. Their food is SOOOOOO good (many guests said it was the best 'wedding food' they'd ever had) and I would not hesistate to call them again for our next event. A+++++!!

I worked with Ed and he was wonderful. He walked me through the decisions, handled the last-minute surprises calmly and professionally, and made sure everything ran smoothly on the day. The food was wonderful, we had so many compliments (and I'm still dreaming about the Gorganzola Fig Tarts!). They even went out of their way to make us a crepe station for dessert since we didn't have a cake!

We worked with Ed for our wedding at Cairnwood Estate. We went for a tasting and knew we really wanted Sage because they offer a more sophisticated menu than many other vendors. Our guests all complimented us on the event and food. Ed is organized and always very responsive. If you want to give your guests something unique and not run of the mill options, you will love Sage.

Sage Catering made choosing a caterer extremely easy in my opinion. We went to their office, walked through a traditional front door into a charming little dining room where we were served a little bit of everything - the food was delicious and we were certain that this was the caterer!Darby Venema was delightful. I just loved her! I thought that she was very professional, very reliable and just all around a joy to work with. She also didn't miss a beat - she reminded me of things that I would've otherwise forgotten about which made me even more confident that we made the right choice!Aside from catering and ALL things involved in that part of the deal - in other words, you won't have to think about another thing where your food and service is concerned; they'll take care of everything, they also offer a wedding planner as a part of their service which is fantastic and, again, Darby was wonderful to plan with!As for the day of our wedding, I do have a suggestion for Darby on future planning/execution. I guess I assumed that because Darby was playing the roll of our "planner" that she would be the only person I'd be dealing with on the night of our wedding. In other words, I didn't expect to be bothered with dictating to the DJ what announcements he was supposed to be making and whether or not dinner was over and it was OK to begin playing dance music. I didn't think that it would be up to my husband and I to round everyone up for photos and direct everyone where they should be going. I didn't think it would be our responsibility to get everyone together to enter the reception and tell the DJ when he could start announcing us. There is just so much going on that day which makes it hard for any bride to really kick back and enjoy herself but if you're paying the kind of money that we paid for a caterer/planner, there should be no need for the bride to have to interact with anyone beside the planner since it's likely that the planner would be able to provide most answers anyway, leaving the bride and groom to enjoy the day that they spent so much time and money planning. So for me, the night seemed very unorganized and therefore I had a difficult time relaxing and enjoying myself. However, everyone else has reported over and over again about how much fun they had and how splendid the food was!
