Theresa was wonderful to work with! We had another quote from a Florist before we met with her but I felt that they didn't fully understand my vision that I was going for. Since we were married in April, I wanted lots of flowers and tea lights. There are so many flowers in bloom in April and I wanted to capture that as well as have the tea lights look like fireflies. Within minutes of meeting Theresa she made my vision come to life with only knowing a few details of my wedding. She gave me beautiful flowers and suggested high center pieces with curly willow that had the tea lights hanging off them. She also decorated the windows and hung tea lights and flowers from an opening in the room that also made my firefly fantasy come to life. Her vision and creativity is impeccable! I was blown away when she began to describe her vision for our day. It was even better when I saw the vision come to life on our wedding day. Lastly, she responded quickly to emails and was there to supervise the arrangement on the day of our wedding. Flowers were so important to us and I was at ease when I personally saw her delivering the flowers to the hotel with her staff. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a fantasic florist.

I knew I was going to enjoy working with Theresa as soon as we met for the first consultation. You can tell she is passionate about floral design and making your day special. Because of a limited budget, we only wanted bouquets, boutonnieres, and mother corsages - but you would have thought we wanted thousands of dollars worth of flowers by the way Theresa treated us. At first I was nervous to tell a floral designer that I only wanted a few things - I wasn't sure if there would be any 'pushing' for more items or if she wouldn't work with us for such a small request. But none of that was an issue! She didn't event hint at adding additional pieces and was so helpful in assisting us to choose the best combinations for the bouquets. I was also really happy with the final price - I thought it was very fair and well worth the value provided. I had a small intimate wedding on New Year's Eve. Theresa listened to my wants and needs to create absolutely beautiful floral arrangements. I could not have been happier and all of my guests agreed! I have been to many wedding in the past 62 years, including some very extravagant affairs in NYC, and Theresa Floral did an absolutely fabulous job with our recent wedding. Planning the designs was very professionally done as well as fun. The flower arrangements were beyond our expectations - simply incredible...you really have to see pix to appreciate Theresa Floral's creative genius and artistry. The installation was handled very professionally, on time, and there was not a single thing which was not 100%. I VERY HIGHLY recommend this floral design...

Theresa combines her knowledge of flowers, with her background in fine arts to deliver unusual, artistic floral arrangements that are second to non. Theresa listened carefully to our needs and showed us several prototypes to choose from. Working with her was such a pleasure. She was professional, cost-conscious, and down to earth. Not only did Theresa take care of my floral arrangements and wedding party flowers, she helped design a ceremony site and decorate fireplace mantels throughout my wedding venue that truly helped create a beautiful space for my big day. I came to Theresa with a few ideas and then I let her creative juices flow. I had the utmost confidence in her ability to capture the feeling I had described based on her art background and seeing samples of her work. Theresa was very prompt in email replies and answered any questions or concerns honestly as well as professionally. I would certainly consider using her again in the future and give her very high praise to anyone looking for these services.

Theresa was absolutely fabulous to work with! She was so patient with my mother and I through countless meetings when trying to figure out the perfect arrangements for the reception. And she executed it all flawlessly! I could not have dreamed of anything more beautiful. She captured the modern feel that we wanted and even threw her on flair to some of the arrangements, which I loved! She was affordable and delivered the highest quality of work. I had a truly excellent experience with Theresa for my June 4 wedding in Dewey Beach, and highly recommend her to any bride looking for innovative design, wonderful customer service and responsiveness, all from an incredibly nice designer! Theresa and I had communicated by email, as I was planning my wedding from DC. After checking her schedule, she promptly got back to me to arrange an hour-long beginning phone consultation, wherein I threw ideas at her, and she did her best to mesh them all into a cohesive vision. After that, I met her for an in-person consultation, and based on the concepts I'd sort of thrown out ("Architectural. Spiky. Different.") , she developed a few concepts, and showed me the flowers she felt responded to those images. As the design and planning process continued, I felt more and more comfortable with Theresa just going with her vision - she had these really wonderful ideas, and based on her previous work, I just felt that I could trust her to make the appropriate call. So eventually, I basically said..."Just do whatever you think will be awesome (within my budget of course ;)". AND SHE DID. it was PHENOMENAL. Like...our wedding colors were aqua, red, and old gold, and she made these sculptural arrangements using aqua wire clouds, interspersed with copper wire, and using roses, tomatoes, red gerbera daises, hot peppers lit with LED lights...it was so cool, and so us. When you're in stressed-out bride mode, being able to let something go because you trust your designer to do something amazing feels like a major favor. So, I'm really glad we got the opportunity to work with Theresa, and seriously, if you're getting married in her vicinity, you should really talk to her.

Theresa was truly a dream to work with. From the first meeting, she was welcoming and inviting and listened very closely to what I wanted. By my last meeting closer to the day she knew some of the flowers I wanted wouldn't be available during that part of the season and suggested others that were just as great. She is very knowledgable when it comes to flowers, how they look, how they'll work with your vision, etc. I wanted peonies in early April and she got them for me (from Holland, no less)! When last minute (very small) changes had to happen - for example the pink stock she wanted to use for the flower girl's fairy wands turned out to be not up to her standards, she emailed me to see if it was ok to improvise with some white stock - and it looked wonderful. I cannot say enough about her, very responsive, affordable, and caring.

From the first call to the drop-off of rental items after our reception, Theresa has been absolutely amazing. When looking for a floral vendor, we visited four companies in northern Delaware, and compared them for value (most important to us) and expertise (looking at lots of albums). Theresa stood out from the rest with her use of color and textures - her arrangements and overall design were gorgeous, and frankly, we didn't think we could ever afford her. When we saw the final estimate, it was amazing that she was able to do so much at such a low cost compared to the other Delaware florists. She met with us several times to design a wedding that was exactly what we wanted. She also worked with us over email and phone with no problems since we weren't local. At one of our meetings, she actually went in her personal garden, pulled out flowers that would be similar to what we'd have, and did mock-ups of our centerpieces when we had trouble imagining it. Theresa went above and beyond to make sure we were always comfortable and excited about our flowers. Theresa truly made our wedding custom. I'm an electronics hobbyist, and Theresa had no problems incorporating my (admittedly unattractive) circuit boards and LED lights into her designs. She spent a lot of time with us working out the details and making sure everything went perfectly. She was totally supportive from concept to implementation, and was just as excited as us to make them happen. Theresa is certainly a perfectionist, and spent time tweaking all the arrangements and centerpieces after they were delivered on-site. The flowers ended up looking amazing - well beyond our expectations - especially for what we paid. I would highly recommend her to friends and family, no matter what their budget, and we cannot wait for our pictures to come back -- the first thing we'll look for are the pictures of our flowers.

Theresa's creativity is amazing and she is wonderful and easy to work with...the flowers she did for my wedding blew me away on my wedding day and I had multiple people come up to me to ask who did the flowers so they could book Theresa for their events. Theresa was absolutely fabulous from our first meeting all the way through the whole process. From our first meeting, she really listened to our needs and understood the look and feel that we were going for. She was always prompt with responding to my many e-mails and when I wanted to make a last minute change to the whole centerpiece design, Theresa was more than accommodating. All of the flowers were beyond my every expectation and it really pulled the whole look together. All of her suggestions were right on point and very helpful. I probably interviewed close to a dozen florists for my 7/24/10 wedding before deciding on Theresa. I felt like she understood exactly what I wanted and was by far one of the most professional vendors I have ever worked with! She really paid attention to my vision and went above and beyond to create beautiful floral arrangements for my day. I received compliments throughout the night from guests on how much they loved the centerpieces. Even the venue's staff said they have never seen prettier flowers at the venue before! She also worked with me to use my mother's collection of glassware as vessels for the flowers which I greatly appreciated. Also, because she is exclusively a floral designer and she doesn't run a floral shop, those overhead costs are not passed on to you and her price is extremely competitive. I would recommend this company to anyone getting married in the Philadelphia area!

My daughter's wedding was 6/19/10. Theresa did the flowers for us, as well as a terrarium for the seating card table and some large wreaths for the door to the barn where the reception was held. Everything was absolutely beautiful, the price was very reasonable, her service was impeccable. But the thing that differentiated her from other florists we met with was the way she truly LISTENED. She didn't push her agenda - she took a lot of time to listen to my daughter and understand her. Because she did that first, her ideas and suggestions were absolutely on target. We were completely confident in leaving everything in her hands because we felt she really understood what we wanted. As I said, everything was beautiful - but what was the best part of working with her was the comfort and security we had in her handling everything. We knew that she would be the one taking care of our flowers, not handing off the work to someone else who did now know us. I would highly recommend her for flowers/decor for any type of event.

Theresa provided the flowers for an event this past Monday, and everyone agreed that they were breathtaking. Her attention to detail, unique style, and overall creativeness impressed all who attended the event. We just had Theresa do the flowers for our son's wedding and she did an amazing job. The flowers for the church were so beautiful and she worked with us to do pew baskets for unconventional pews. The flowers for the bridal party were perfect with the dresses. She spent a lot of time with us at the consultation and was very easy to contact for questions or when there were changes. She also made sure everything went smoothly during the ceremony.

I had such a great experience with Theresa! When I first met with her she really took the time to explain different types of flowers to me (since I don't know much at all) and made sure she knew exactly what I was looking for. Based on the few ideas I had she was able to create unbelievably gorgeous bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids!! She has such a great vision and I trusted her completely. From the very first meeting with Theresa, I knew I could trust her to produce something spectacular. I myself am a horticulturalist so my floral demands were pretty great, however we had a limited budget to work with and that was no problem for Theresa. She was more than willing to work with the resources we had available. I had requested several rare and exotic flowers that other florists told me were not available, but Theresa worked very hard to make sure I got what I wanted on my wedding day. Guests (as well as myself) were blown away by her designs at the reception and her use of unconventional materials to represent the wedding colors. Theresa was the only vendor that I didn't need to give explicit instructions to. I felt comfortable enough with her to give her artistic freedom and it was nice to have a few fun surprises on our wedding day. After going through the wedding day with multiple other problems, it was a treat to know that I didn't have to worry about the flowers. The peace of mind that Theresa provided was absolutely invaluable to myself as the bride. Theresa carried out my vision for wedding day in a better way than I could ever have imagined. I loved my bouquet so much that I have decided to preserve it so I can look at those flowers for years to come!

Theresa created beautiful centerpieces and bouquets for our wedding at the Hotel du Pont in Wilmington, DE. She used gorgeous, fresh roses, with lovely accents like ribbon, pearls, and sparkles. They were everything we hoped for, and more. She created exactly what we had described to her - our vision to a T. I would recommend Theresa Floral Design to everyone!
