I had a cake topper with cupcakes. They were decorated beautifully and everyone told me they were delicious. I did not get to taste them but we had some of the cake when we got home.

We were both so excited to see the tree design on our cake, we could barely wait. Much to our surprise the cake was at the venue the day before and we got a sneak peak at it. We could not have asked for anything better- we loved it! The cake was moist and delicious; the lemon swirl was just enough flavoring. Thank you again for such a wonderful wedding cake!

I could not be happier with the way my wedding cake turned out. It was everything I dreamed it would be and more!!!! The people at towne crier were nothing but helpful and made sure they knew ever detail for my cake. They even went as far as calling me he day of he wedding and textin and emailing me a picture of a flower that was to appear on my cake to make sure it was without a doubt the one we wanted!!! I can not wait to use town crier bakery again!

Full disclosure: we are not cake people. We knew right away that we weren't doing wedding cake so instead, the bakery hunt became the quest for the perfect pie crust. My new husband is a bit of a pie snob so it was a challenge at first. We went to half a dozen places before finding Town Crier Bakery, literally five minutes up the road from my parents’ house and a ten minute drive from our venue. Who knew?
We talked with owners Roseann and Kerry Burns, two of the most delightful people you will ever meet, and decided on something totally unique for our winter wedding. We had mini pies at our reception. Instead of the mess and time it would take to have the venue cut and serve full-size pies to 125 guests, we opted for 100 four-inch individual “pielets.” (Yes, we know this is now a trend but we were before the crest!) Kerry and Roseann had us taste at least eight flavors – all delicious – and we narrowed it down to four: cranberry-apple, blueberry, sour cherry and apple caramel. They were all crafted lovingly by hand in individual pie tins so guests could choose more than one flavor or even take them to go in cute little boxes. Roseann set up a beautiful display of pies on either side of the dance floor so that the homemade aspect of the dessert buffets (we also had aunts bake a ton of cookies) could really shine.
If you’re a Bucks County bride, call Town Crier and meet with them - even if you love cake. All of their work is beautiful and delicious. Their prices can’t be beat for the quality of the baked goods and they are a close-knit, family-owned business so you will get incredible customer service and a free cake/pie on your first anniversary…but go back before then because I’m telling you, those pies are to die for.

Because we were getting married at Warrington Country Club which offers an inclusive wedding reception, we were given two different bakeries to choose from. Towne Crier Bakery in Peddler's Village was one of them. We wanted to have a custom cake to match our autumn theme. When we got there we choose a cake from a picture then asked to have the shape of the cake layers changed and were able to choose the frosting design We also wanted fresh flowers. The bakery was very helpful, giving us advice and ideas. The day of wedding the cake was on display with a fresh flower top and cascading flowers down the sides. We received many compliments on how beautiful it was. It tasted very good, though we have to admit other than the cake cutting piece, we didn't eat any until the next day. It was still really good!

We found the Town Crier Bakery well before we decided to get married because they are situated in Peddler's Village which is a quaint shopping area near my home that we love to go to! When we contracted our venue, we were surprised and very happy to find that Town Crier was one of the places we could have our cake made at. When we met with Town Crier, we went over all of our options and decided on a non-traditional kind of teardrop/paramecium shape, decorated along the bottom in a paisley pattern. My fiance and I had this vision in our hears of how we wanted it to look and for the 3 months after we ordered it, we worried about how it would really turn out. But it was exactly what we had envisioned and it was oh so yummy! Not only that but upon request they made us vegan and gluten free cupcakes for our guests and you would never have known, they were so delicious too! I highly recommend them to everyone! They also have fantastic cookies and desserts for anyone not in need of a cake.

I went to the Town Crier with a handful of (very different) pictures of cakes I loved, and just could not decide what I wanted. Roseanne took one look at me, and picked out the cake she thought looked the most like my style. The Town Crier did a magnificent job on our wedding cake - a three-tiered cake with both pumpkin chocolate chip pound cake and vanilla pound cake layers - it was gorgeous! And not only was it beautiful, it was the tastiest cake ever. We received (and still receive) so many compliments from guests about how delicious the cake was. We have since ordered other cakes (birthdays, etc.) from the Town Crier - they never disappoint! I can't wait to break open our top tier on our first year anniversary in October!

This bakery was very professional and delivered exactly what we asked for on time. I didn't think the taste of the cake was really great, but it looked beautiful and that's what we cared more about. They also have gluten free and vegan cupcakes.

I used Town Crier as my wedding cake vendor and was very pleased with their work. about a month before the wedding, I went in to the store to discuss design and was pretty much set from there. The designer of the cake did an amazing job and the cake looked and tasted amazing!! They have the best customer service and are very flexible and even have great ideas as well!!! Also, my cake was included with the cost of the reception place at the Warrington Country Club so that was amazing too!

Roseann and Kerry at the Town Crier Bakery were the most wonderful folks a bride could ever have do her wedding cake! To begin with their cakes are delicious! They were helpful and responsive to our questions, designed the exact cake I asked them to create, and made a wonderfully beautiful cake that was 6 tiers of delicious! They allowed me to have different flavors in my different tiers to that we could appeal to the differing tastes of our guests. They also created a wonderful surprise groom's cake in the shape of a Phillies' hat for my now-husband which gained rave reviews from our guests. I plan on using the Town Crier for ALL of my future bakery needs and to be honest we stop in at least once a month since our tasting to pick up some sort of wonderful treat! I LOVED working with Kerry on selecting our wedding cake and I cannot rave enough about how wonderful this bakery is!

Included in our reception package was a cake from one of two bakeries. On a whim, we choose Town Crier and we are so glad we did! Roseann was extremely personable, and it is obvious from the moment you meet her she loves what she does... and she does it well. We were able to basically design our own cake, choosing flavors, icing, decor, color scheme, etc. Even when we had to make a change in the actual cake flavors, they were able to accommodate. Our cake fit in perfectly with our wine theme wedding and was delicious!

I love this bakery! We always stop in when we're in Peddler's Village and they don't disappoint. My aunt actually gave us the cake as a present and it was a great one! Everyone raved about how moist and buttery the cake was and the buttercream was to die for! It's sooo creamy and fresh, not waxy or gritty like so many cakes I've tasted from other bakeries. I highly recommend this family gem!

Very lovely owners. The cake tasted great but there was a small mix up with the cake design. I would certainly use them again though.

Choosing a cake was nice. Looked through a lot of books. Had an opportunity to taste a few. The cake looked magnificent, but the flavor was not a good as it looked.

The woman we met with was very nice and took very good notes regarding how we wanted our cake to taste and look. The cake tasted great! the only problem I had was that the monogram we decided against was added. I think it would have looked better without it, but the cake was beautiful I we received many completements. Nothing to keep me from going back for me cake :)

We met with Roseanne from Town Crier to discuss our wedding cake thinking we would get a small fancy cake and then sheet cake for the rest of our guests. She encouraged us to pick out a large fancy cake that we liked and she would write up the quote and see what we thought. We were shocked at how affordable (and beautiful) the cake was! We customized the flavors and were given a cake sample to take home, which we enjoyed! We also were able to change the sweetness on the butter cream frosting after tasting the sample cake-- the cake on our wedding day was just perfect.
Our only complaint was that the cake was delivered fairly late on our wedding day, which had my coordinator and caterer a bit on edge, however it did arrive before most of the guests, so any potential disaster was avoided.
All in all, delicious, lovely cake at a reasonable price with accommodation for customization.

My husband and I were married May 2009. Towncrier Bakery came highly recommended to us by Warrington Country Club (where we were married), and we couldn't have been happier that we chose to use them! We worked with Roseanne; she was so sweet, and she made the process a lot of fun! We brought in a picture of a cake we found in a magazine, and they made an almost EXACT replica of it! It looked absolutely gorgeous AND tasted great! We would highly recommend Towncrier to others!
