Leslie was fantastic to work with. I had to cut my budget and she worked with me to give me beautiful flowers in my price range. My flowers were perfect, and she even worked hops into my beer lover husband's bout.

Loved my flowers! Leslie even came earlier than she normally would to set up the flowers and deliver our bouquets because we were doing a first reveal. She was very helpful the first time I met her and had made a huge amount of suggestions regarding flower choices. She was very nice and knowledgable.

I am not sure how to begin. Leslie is phenomenal. She starts early with youpicking out flowers you like, ones you don’t and suggests in season flowers for you to research (viaGoogle images). I found the homework of researching flowers wonderful as it opened me up to somenon-traditional flowers. Leslie, knowledgeable, friendly, and generally amazing – found out where wewere engaged and instantly suggested the Star of Bethlehem flower – which I have a) never heardof and b) can now add to my favorite flowers list. She worked with our budget, and while I neverconsidered myself a flower bride – we ended up having a ton of flowers without spending a ton ofmoney. The centerpieces were to die for – 6 lanterns with 4 squat mason jars filled with hydrangeaand sunflowers, and 6 large mason jars with sunflowers, blue delphinium, curly willow, white roses andstock flowers. The centerpieces could only be beat by my bouquet which I wish I had had preserved.The bridesmaids’ bouquets were equally beautiful and the girls loved being able to have them set invases for over a week after the wedding. Furthermore Leslie had her painter paint a planter box withour names on it, and decorated it with the left over ribbon from our handfasting cords, in it went thesame flowers and unlike the flowers, the box I get as a wonderful keepsake of the day and of WhimsicalWelcomes!I go so many compliments on the flowers and how lovely the tables looked. I can only credit Leslie, asshe was the brains behind it all. Every idea I had she took and magnified to beyond my dreams. I don’tthink I could recommend her enough as a florist. With Whimsical Welcomes you not only get amazingflowers, you also get friendly service, great advice and money still left in your pocket.

Leslie is the best! She really takes the time to understand what kind of look you are trying to achieve at your wedding. She even called me prior to the wedding to see that my bouquet was proportionately the right size for my body type. I cannot believe how amazingly beautiful the bouquets and centerpieces were! Flowers were not really one of my top priorities for the wedding, but they really added a lovely touch to the day. I highly recommend working with Leslie; she is a very talented and thoughtful woman.

Leslie at Whimsical Welcomes did a fantastic job for my wedding. She really takes a lot of time in to getting to know you and make very unique designs that fit your personality and your wedding. She was very detailed and the flowers looked amazing. She also was aware of my budget and helped me stay within the price range I was looking to spend. She is extremely creative and professional. She would get back to emails so quickly and always had positive fresh ideas to contribute to designs. I would recommend her to anyone getting married in the area - you won't be disappointed.

Working with Leslie was one of my very favorite wedding planning tasks. She is beyond wonderful and excels at creativity. Her thoughfulness and expertise shows in each and every arrangement, bouquet and bouteniere. It was such a pleasure to deal with her. She even donates to the SPCA and even uses a portion of the deposit to give to the SPCA. It is so refreshing when you meet with vendors that have a conscience. She truly loves the work she does. The prices were amazing and affordable which is very important when you are sticking to a budget, but it did not compromise the floral arrangements or creativity. I only wish I have more events and parties so I can work with Leslie again in the future. Anybody would be lucky to work with her and experience her talent for themselves. One of my fondest memories from my wedding day will always be the flowers. I will be telling everyone I know that Whimsical Welcomes is the way to go for any floral needs.

First let me say that Leslie is phenomenal, not only as a vendor, but as a person. At first flowers were not at the top of my list, and I actually thought about DIY’ing them to save on cost. I figured I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on something that was going to die with in a few days after the wedding. After I met with Leslie and realized flowers weren’t as expensive as I thought they were going to be, and the cost of DIY’ing vs. the cost of saving myself the aggravation didn’t even measure up. Leslie really worked within my budget and her ideas just blew me away. Even though I only did flowers for the bridal party, the parents, and myself, Leslie still helped me design my centerpieces and gave me some great ideas for other things! The day of the wedding the flowers were beyond what I had even imagined, they were absolutely stunning! My bouquet was beautiful and it lasted almost about 2 weeks until it withered. We had many compliments on the girl’s flowers and how unique they were designed. Leslie also responds very quickly to emails and phone calls. I never had to wait on having a questioned answered. She was really great to work with, one of the best decisions I made!

Leslie of Whimsical Welcomes is the best florist that I could ever imagine working with for my wedding, hands down. If you are a hands-on bride who wants to be included in the design process, Leslie is absolutely amazing. She is truly an artist who likes to work outside of the box rather than give you cookie-cutter wedding flowers, and she enjoys the process along the way, always including you in decisions. From the initial questions Leslie asks, she gets to know each bride, colors, design elements of the wedding, etc. The best part- I could not have imagined my flowers being any more gorgeous. Even though I knew what they were along the way, the final product was absolutely stunning. Everyone was in love with the flowers. Work with Leslie- it's the best wedding decision you could ever make!

Leslie was great to work with. She spent time getting to know us and our interests to come up with personalized ideas for our day. She had no problem working with my flower choices which did not include one rose. We worked together to come up with some extra details that I was able to help her craft. I loved how our flowers turned out; they were me through and through! I was pointed in their direction by a recommendation from another bride and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Whimsical Welcomes to others!

Leslie was excellant. She was very professional at all times. She is truly gifted and passionate with her work. She is very creative and was able to capture my vision and stay in my budget. My wedding was beautiful.

Whimsical Welcomes was wonderful to work with! I highly recommend them to any bride who either knows exactly what she wants, or to anyone who doesn't have a clue about where to begin. Leslie was so helpful and had so many great ideas to meet my budget. Flower costs can add up quickly, but Leslie definitely provided a fair quote and did a great job getting me the most for my money.

My mother suggested whimsical welcomes was the place to go based on her friend's daughter's experience. Well, she was right! Although a bit out of our price range, the flowers were amazing and lush! We also got a few complimentary extra pieces for my hair which was really sweet.

Leslie did such a wonderful job with my flowers. She seriously was my favorite vendor visit way back in the beginning of my planning. She had such great and, more importantly, unique ideas for my centerpieces. I loved everything she came up with. She helped me to stick with my budget and was such a pleasure to work with. I would highly reccommend her to anyone.

Leslie provided a vast array of floweres for my wedding at a very reasonable cost. She works with whatever budget may be and we remained well under budget for our wedding of 90 guests. Everyone loved our center pieces and the placecard table flower display. They loved them so much that they took the center pieces home with them and they even took my bridal bouquet. Leslie and her partners did a great job with the flowers and she was extremely organized and responsive to our needs. We had to add some center pieces and that was okay. I highly recommend her to any bride planning a wedding who wants her wedding to look beautiful.

Whimsical Welcomes did an excellent job with my wedding flowers. Everything was beautiful and was exactly what I wanted. Leslie knows exactly what she is doing and can make your wedding flowers match your vision with no problem at all. I do not know flowers very well and was easily overwhelmed. Leslie broke everything down into smaller chunks for me to deal with as I was able to. For the complexity of our arrangements and the types of flowers I wanted, the value was extremely good.

I can not say enough great things about Whimsical Welcomes. I really enjoyed working with Leslie. She would take all my idea no matter how crazy and run with them. She also took the time to get to know me and my husband so she could provide things that were meaningful to us. Finally, she also educated us on what would work together and what we needed so our flowers won't wilt half way through the night. The final product was breathtaking and I would highly recommend her!

Whimsical Welcomes was amazing to work with.... Leslie provided a VERY personal touch and was open to hearing my concerns and giving several options and suggestions. Leslie always made sure that she knew exactly what I wanted and would double check.

5 out of 5 stars may not tell the whole story...first, Leslie and Annie -- what wonderfully talented, personable, dedicated ladies to work with! From the first meeting with Leslie where we spent a few hours talking about my daughter's vision ~ I KNEW these were the women for the job. A Christmas wedding w/out going OVERBOARD was going to be tricky. Leslie took every idea we collaborated on and brought it to life in a classy, warm, festive way! A few days before the wedding, I dropped off some decor that I had purchased and said "Go ahead, feel free to use whatever you would like." Leslie and her team took those items and 'ran' with them. The final results can be seen on her blog spot. Look for Sandi and Ken's snowflake themed wedding. The ceremony decor was stunning with its white babies' breath altar arrangements (with white branches and hanging white and crystal snowflakes), which were just gorgeous and beautifully appropriate for the setting. The tiny centerpieces for the tables adorning the cocktail hour carried a bit of the white theme from the ceremony, and splattered some red and greens in them, setting the tone for what was to come in the banquet room. The centerpiece for the escort card table really got folks excited as it was filled with christmas ornaments within the tall cylinder vase and also contained traditional holiday greens and flowers. For the banquet room, the Whimsical Welcomes team created 3 separate centerpieces which were scattered among the tables. My personal favorite was the red vase which contained the holly from Leslie's own yard, peppermint stripe carnations, white birch branches, and small pine cones throughout. It was so incredibly festive! My daughter's wedding was on December 4th - and the arrangements lasted for more than a week AFTER the wedding. I also want to mention that you will be hard pressed to find folks who truly enjoy their job. It shows in every flower they help you choose. Leslie is AMAZING!!! She works with budgeting brides, brings their ideas to life and makes your BIG day the most beautiful day you could ever dream of!!! The flowers are fresh cut, breathe taking and arranged perfectly!!! Thank you Leslie for making Matthew and I's big day and dreams come true!!!

Leslie and her team are absolutely amazing! To say we were pleased with our flowers and the decorations at the venue would truly be an understatement! When I dropped off some stuff to Leslie the day before the wedding I caught a glimpse of some of the arrangements before the big day and I kid you not, the entire way home I was yammering on to my now husband about how amazing they were!! Then on our wedding day, last weekend, we were just absolutely blown away at how it all came together. The arrangements brought such life and brightness to the colonial style venue we chose. From my bouquet, to the centerpieces, to the place card table arrangement and everything in between... everything was stunningly beautiful!! The entire process of working with Leslie was so painless. She was my favorite vendor because every time we emailed and talked I felt like I was the top priority and that my opinions and ideas were heard and valued. She is super fast in responding to any and every question and I was never left wondering about any detail. And for my perfectionist self - this was so wonderful!!If you're looking for a great florist in the area to take care of you and work within your budget.... look no further!
